More Than a Crush

More Than a Crush

Each time I breathe,
I feel your touch —
Though we haven’t known each other much,
I hope you could be more than a crush.

Tell me if I’m moving too fast,
But my heart is in a quiet rush.
I fear losing you…
Yet regret holds me, too.

I may not be the one you pictured,
Not the man in your dreams —
But I’m here to be tested,
To show you my love, and what it means.

This might be a lot to hold,
But hold me warm — my heart is cold.
You are the fire I see,
The light I seek...
And I love the way you respect me.

So everyone, look and see —
The angel God gave to me.
