Peace in death

I stand at a cliff that i could take 
But this pain is too hard to take
I stand at this point when I can’t take break
But I hold my breath and so I will wait 

I slit my wrist at every knot in the way 
But I hold my breath so I will not wake
I feel the cold in my wake
But I burn so fast it’s hard to take
