Confession of My Heart

In the silence of the moonlit night,
Your smile is my only guiding light.
I’ve held these feelings deep inside,
But now I’ve found no place to hide.

Your laughter echoes in my soul,
With you, I feel completely whole.
Every glance, every little cue,
Tells me my heart belongs to you.

I don’t know if words will suffice,
To show the world, you’re my paradise.
But today I dare to take this chance,
To speak my heart, to break the trance.

Will you hold my hand and stay?
Together, we’ll find a brighter way.
In your arms, I find my peace,
Say yes, and my joy will never cease.

So here I am, with a hopeful plea,
Will you share your world with me?

Naino se Dil tk

Dil ki baatein dil tak hi thi,
Ya phir meri baaton mein bhi uska dil tha?
Uske dil mein chhupa hua ek raaz tha,
Jo dil ki jagah naino ne bayan kar diya.

Uski aankhon mein ek kahani thi,
Jismein har lafz meri nishani thi.
Woh khamosh thi, par keh rahi thi bahut,
Uski chup bhi ek zubaani thi.

Uske chehre pe jo halki si jhalak thi,
Woh mere sawaalon ki chhuti kasak thi.
Jaise woh meri dhadkan ko sun rahi ho,
Jaise mere khwaabon ko chun rahi ho.

Meri baaton ka asar tha, ya sirf fizaa,
Uski har ada mein chhupa tha mazaa.
Par uski khamoshi mein chhupa ek darr tha,
Jaise woh khud se hi bekhabar tha.

Ab bhi sochta hoon, woh kya kehna chahti,
Kya uski nigaahein mujhe apna maanti?
Ya yeh sirf mera bharam tha, koi chhalawa,
Jismein main dooba, magar usne bachaya?

Kahani adhuri hai, na jaanoon main khud,
Kya uske dil ka safar tha yeh jud?
Par itna yakeen hai, woh ehsaas saccha tha,
Uski aankhon mein jhalka jo sapna tha.

                                                            ~Shruti

Whispers of the Eyes

The heart’s secrets stayed within, concealed,
Or did my words her emotions reveal?
A tale of whispers, unspoken, divine,
Yet her silent gaze crossed every line.

In her heart, a mystery lay untold,
A treasure of feelings, subtle yet bold.
Though words stayed hidden, quiet, shy,
Her eyes spoke volumes beneath the sky.

A glance so fleeting, yet deeply profound,
An unsaid story in her gaze I found.
Her heart’s whispers through her eyes did flow,
A silent rhythm only love could know.

What words could not, her eyes had said,
A language of love, where the heart was led.
The truth unveiled in a moment so fleeting,
Two souls in silence, secretly meeting.

So now I wonder, was it just me?
Or did her heart reflect what I could see?
In the realm of silence, love was confessed,
A story of hearts, forever blessed.

Nazm

Tu nazm banke sang chalna
Main shabd banke tujhme utaroon.
Shabdon ki dori banke tu, jehan mein utarna
Main bol banke tujhme samaoon.

Nazm jaise rag rag mein bas jaoon
Geet banke saavan jaise bahaaroon.
Tu sawal banke mujhe karna rubaru
Main jawab banke tujhme samet jaoon.

Tu raag jaise nazm ko tarashna
Main shringaar banke nazm shringaaroon.
Donon milke vaaky banayein
Har geet ko madhur sajayein.

Nazm ke bina feeka ho yeh jeevan
Ah bina kaise ho sangam.
Aao milke mitaayein jeevan se gham
Har pal nau rason se karke sansar ka beejan.

                                                                   ~Shruti

When Eyes First Speak

"Do you remember, those days we held so dear?
The moment our eyes met, and time stood still, clear.
That day, when words were silent but hearts spoke true,
Our souls intertwined, beneath skies so blue.

In my heart, a flame still burns so bright,
A memory that feels both distant and right.
Without a word, we found a sacred bond,
Eyes that spoke, though silence responded.

Even now, as I close my eyes, you’re near,
The moments we shared, they still draw me here.
Lost in you, yet your presence remains,
A story of love, that never truly wanes.

Why did you go? What did we lose?
Questions unanswered, like shadows that bruise.
In your gaze, I saw a world so wide,
A connection that no distance could hide.

Will you return, will you feel the same?
Will you hear my voice, will you know my name?
An ocean of thoughts, unanswered and deep,
In your silence, my heart still does weep.

Why did we part, what did we find?
A love unspoken, yet etched in my mind.
For sure, our eyes, they truly spoke,
A bond so pure, no words could evoke.

Still lost in your touch, in your memory’s flame,
Will you return? Will you feel the same?
Will you walk back into my life once more,
And heal these wounds that yearn for you more?

Will we meet again, with eyes that seek,
The bond we knew, the love so unique?"

Ek Prem Prastav

Khwaabon mein jo kho gayi woh raat ho tum,
Mere dil mein jo basi, kuchh aisi baat ho tum.

Sajde mein uthe jo yeh haath ho tum,
Har saans mein jo shaamil woh saath ho tum.

Chaandni raato ki woh nazaakat ho tum,
Meri har dhadkan ki jo hifaazat ho tum.

Bheege mausam ki woh pehli fuhaar ho tum,
Mere dard ki woh ek hi dawa ho tum.

Khamoshiyon mein jo goonjti woh sada bhi tum,
Har lafz mein chhupi woh dua ho tum.

Jo sukoon de woh haseen khyaal bhi tum,
Mere alfaazon ki khoobsurat misaal ho tum.

Mere dil ki dhadkan ho tum,
Main tumhaari zindagi hoon, ab yeh sawaal ho tum!!

Kya hoon, Main tumhari Jindagi, batao na!
Yeh ab sawal ho tum!!

It's Again You!

You are the dwelling in the hills so high, And the riverbank where dreams lie. The gentle breeze that whispers through, The sea of memories deep and true. You are the melody, pure and fine, And the silence, peaceful and divine. If I could wish to the skies so blue, It’d be you the first, and again you too. Again, and again, it’s always you. ~Shruti

Anjaan

Tumse anjaan toh nahi, par pehchaan itni mukammal bhi nahi.
Tumse har lamha juda hai, par kahani-e-safar itna saral bhi nahi.
Tere lafzon ki khamoshi, kuch raaz chhupati hai.
Main samajhna toh chaahun, par lafz kahan ban paati hai.

Tum jo ho, woh shayad waqt ka ek haseen ishara ho.
Par mera haal-e-dil, ab tak khud se bhi pyaara ho.
Tumse itni waqif bhi nahi ki har raaz khol doon.
Par itna ajnabi bhi nahi jo har jazbaat tol doon.

Kaise kahoon mera haal-e-dil?
Har khwaab mein tera hi manzar mile.
Chaahun bayaan karna, magar lafz kho jaayein.
Tere bina yeh daastaan adhoori reh jaaye.

Tu jo hai, duaon ka asar lagta hai.
Teri har muskaan mein sehar lagta hai.
Khamoshiyon mein bhi teri baatein sunoon.
Tere saath har dard ko hanskar banoon.

Tumse ajnabi nahi, par waqif bhi poori tarah nahi.
Teri har yaad mein kuch adhoora sa basta kahin.
Safar-e-kahani, tujhse hi roshan hai.
Tere bina yeh safar bas ek dhokha sa dhundhla pal hai.
