My Dearest Son Vann

When I woke up this morning,
I heard you calling out to me.
I realized I was dreaming
and that you couldn't be free.

I recall the day you where took from me,
just before you drove away.
I could still hear you saying,
Momma I will always love you.
As the Angel's dried my eyes,
I could see where the love lies.

A month or so has come and gone
since you left me here,
to face this world alone.
I never dreamed it would happen this way,
with you took away and put behind a wall of stone.
Look to the heavens with the sky so clear and blue,
and always know Momma loves you.

Night, Night

Good night,
My Dancing Moon Light.
Drifting into the cloudy night.
So far away up in the sky.
Yet you feel so close it makes me high.

Looking out across the ocean,
Filling my heart and soul with emotion.
I wrap in my blanket for the night.
Then I imagine you holding me tight,
Until I'm awaken by my Sun Shine Kiss of Delight.

Lonely Hearts

God called a loving mother home,
leaving a husband and two children on this earth to roam.
One day the father meet another,
which was also a mother!
There was love and peace,
but it was soon to cist.
For father ask another to be his wife,
changing everybody's feelings and way of life.
The bitterness and lies
caused hurt under watchful eyes.
Never any trust caused the love to turn to hate.
Now it's destoryed, no mater how you wipe the slate.
Unable to become a united seminally,
shows we will never be a true family.

Thought You Should Know

Thought it was time you knew
Just how much I love you.

Months has passed since we've became close friends
I hope your heart feels the vibes mine sends.

Everyday I find I'm thinking of you
Every thought is always something new.

We share all our thoughts and feelings
You even give me the gist of all your dealings.

I dream for that special day
That hand in hand we walk the same way.

Telling you this is opening a door
That can never be closed because I ache for something more.

I must risk my life still yet
It would be worth losing it all if you I get.

Perhaps sometime soon, we'll be somewhere
And when I reach for you, you'll be their.

Never Giving Up

You told me you loved me,
I thought it was true.
Now I'm lost and hurting
All because of you.

You said I was your true love,
So I gave you my heart.
And all you did with it,
was tear it apart.

Nine years of nothing,
How could this be?
We were meant for each other,
But I guess that you couldn't see.

I'm a big girl and I can face the world.
I'll be waiting on that wonderful day,
when you can see to find your way.

Ol Billy Hail

Ol Billy Hail
He was tough as a nail.
He would out work any man,
with just his left hand.
He had a heart of gold,
Is what the story told.
Always singing a song,
as he worked along.
He sang " So lonely, I wanna change the world,
Then I'll get to kiss the right girl."
To change the world, he tried
But in the end he just died.
Only to be remembered
as the man that cut timber.

Finding My Way

Hour of prayer,
Please take me to a world of care.
Lay me at the throne,
Make all my wishes known.
In this time of distress and grief,
My soul and mind pray for relief.
I have a strong desire to return,
Before all my spirits in total burn.

Having Fun With Numbers

1 and 1 are playing in the sun
2 and 2 they don't have a clue
3 and 3 are running free
4 and 4 are at the back door
5 and 5 sure feel alive
6 and 6 are up to there tricks
7 and 7 looks like there in heaven
8 and 8 was just to late
9 and 9 they got out of line
10 and 10 want to do it again
11 and 11 went just like 7 and 7
12 and 12 are happy with there selves
13 and 13 can't be seen
14 and 14 are sure looking lean
15 and 15 are always in between
16 and 16 are being obscene
17 and 17 must think there queen
18 and 18 are needing caffeine
19 and 19 are back in routine
20 and 20 has had plenty

Friend Blessed

I feel so very blessed to have you as my friend,
You share with all the love you have to lend.
You shine with beauty in form and in soul,
You share not in bits and pieces but as a whole.
I couldn't ask for a better friend to treasure,
With your heart felt gratitude, you make it a pleasure.
Your friendship helps me to subsist,
Your always ready in a moments notice to assist.
With you as my friend the unknown has no fear,
For your smile lights the way and shines with cheer.
