Prometeme

Aunque
el deber
te dicte hoy
otro camino.
Y al estar solo
busques el refugió
de un nuevo nido.
Prometeme
qué aún volverás,
tesoro mío.

Confirma tu regreso
con ese
apasionado beso.
Y como velero fiel,
lucharás contra
la marea y viento,
por anclar
nuevamente
en tú amado puerto.
Tú por mi, regresarás.

Cobijame
con las llamas
de pasión intensa
que guardas
en tu pecho.
Para que
mi llanto seque
e así pueda
escuchar la oscura
y triste novedad.

Brindemos
por el adiós,
que no sea
eterno.
Con vino rojo
y dulce, del bueno.
Aunque cada buche
traiga hoy amargura,
al recibir la triste
e agria novedad.

Regalame
ese valor intenso
qué otorga
tu mirada.
Porque
solo tú imagen
puede alimentar
mis sueños.
Así podré sentir
algo de felicidad.

Consuelame
con la esperanza
de tú voz,
que anclada
frente a Dios,
promete tu regreso.
Porqué aunque
despedazado hoy
queda él corazón,
siempre te esperará.

Lost Seedlings

I came across
lost seedlings,
abandoned
in a musty bin
of a garage.

Then heard
a meek mist pleading,
" oh, fern soil,
praise them
with your yard."

" Douse kaleidoscope
cool droplets,
those days
scorched
furnace dark;"

"And clover-cove
when
frigid snow
abrades
their glinting spark."

Festive Words

Make haste arise,
assert the words.
Salute each term
that now gabfest.

In mid of night
they waltz, serenade;
Jovially jolting
a rem-sleep state.

Appease them please,
awake, awake.
You have mere seconds
so soon they fade.

Witty performers,
these festive words;
Parade to play part
of a poet's verse.

Rare frolic idioms
seldom last;
Assign them purpose,
applaud their crafts.

Ink well the quill,
poetize prose.
Recite with vigor
what words compose.

Inscribe each stanza
on scroll egg-shell white.
A task I've done
numerous times.

Ideal locutions
dispel thy rants.
In poetic sequence,
I'll debut thy stance.

Praisin' Kringle

Praisin' Kringle, jolly Nick
for last minute Christmas
smashed-torn gifts.

Cause pop-pop suspects
dad's stuck again,
inside the sooty chimney.

Romance

Romance, indulge
on Valentines.
Embracing cove
scarlet's desires.
A pure rose covets
an ardorous kiss;
Bowed Cherries,
a wedding ring,
Sapphires.

She's

She's a two edge sword,
who wheels saintly believes;
Thus, sashays with Viking's valor
and intuition ease.
She's been known to bend,
near break,
to shade discarded leaves;
From harsh-scolding droughts
or debar frost-bite freeze.

She's
no puppet-master
and most certainly
no angsted puppet, hung;
Who submissive,
bends, bows
or dances,
when her strings
are tugged.

She's that avid eagle
with freedom's reins to soar.
Her nest,
it never tethers,
with knowledge gained,
explores.
The world, it's her oyster,
with every venture,
craves to conquer more.

Those Blessed Bliss With Less

Revisit....
cherished moments,
to blur.....
angst's poisonous
stinging torments.

For just one life,
we have to live.
Those blessed
bliss with less,
while wholehearted give.

Cascading Water

Cascading water
crystalline blue;
Rid me of stains
the days produce.

Make haste to quench
my torrid throat.
Seal, cavernous wounds,
this body totes.

Disguise these tears
that drench my face.
Soothe aching muscles,
my strength replace.

Defuse the doubt
that clouds my mind.
Spiritual drops
refreshes soul, divine.

Reviving energy
pours from the spout.
Welcoming, comforting
its warmth, its sound.

Once you're well done
with all my requests,
cleanse dreadful dreams
so I may rest.

Monday Blues

Rise and shine
cravin' a latte,
of mint cream whisked,
Robusta strong.

With dozen donuts glazed
or more to go,
to bid 'em
Monday blues, so long.

Greet Me

Greet me
Spring sprite,
fresh docile smile;
Whose whispers woo
with hymns of lover's tune.

Enamor me
with fizzy phrases;
As doting night
enthralls, with stars,
the bashful moon.

Cove me
within bossom's veil
of plusing
neverending
blazing charm.

Congenial hover,
like clouds do
to pacify and soothe
the brassy, heated,
brazen sun.

Dreach
my dreams
with valiant gales
of furor baron
kisses gained.

Like Nature's gift of life,
revives plains' drought
with cloudburst,
Heaven's
inundating rain.
