In The Silence Listening

In the quiet chambers of empathy,
Where understanding blooms like a fragile flower,
I tread softly, my footsteps hushed,
Seeking to grasp the unspoken whispers.

No grand proclamations, no eloquent speeches,
Just a heart open wide, arms outstretched,
To catch the fragments of another's soul,
As they spill forth, raw and unfiltered.

I weave patience into my bones,
A tapestry of compassion stitched with care,
For sometimes understanding is not a lightning bolt,
But a slow, steady rain that nurtures parched earth.

I hold space for the tangled threads of pain,
The knotted memories, the frayed edges of hope,
And I listen — truly listen — without interruption,
As if the universe itself were whispering secrets.

Yet, there are moments when my own storms rage,
When understanding slips through my fingers,
And I grapple with the weight of my limitations,
Yearning to bridge the chasm between hearts.

But still, I persist, for in the quietude of trying,
I find solace — a fragile bridge of connection,
Spanning across the vast expanse of human experience,
A testament to our shared fragility and resilience.

So, let us be understanding without fanfare,
Without accolades or applause, but simply because,
In the silence of listening, we discover our kinship,
And the world becomes a softer, kinder place.

Beneath the moon's embrace

Beneath the Moon’s Embrace

In the quiet of night, where dreams take flight, I wandered along the shoreline, seeking respite. The waves whispered secrets of forgotten tides, And I, a weary traveler, yearned for love’s guide.
I carried remnants of heartache, etched in my bones, A symphony of lost melodies, haunting undertones. Yet hope, like a distant star, flickered in the night, Promising solace beyond the light.
And there, amidst the grains of time-worn sand, I stumbled upon footprints—a serendipitous strand. Each step, a revelation; each imprint, a chance, To rewrite the narrative, to waltz in love’s dance.
The constellations shifted, rearranged their glow, As if the universe conspired, whispering, “Go.” I traced Orion’s belt, sought Venus’s tender flame, Believing that love, once lost, could still reclaim.
And then, beneath the moon’s embrace, we collided, Two souls converging, fate’s compass decided. Your eyes held galaxies—the promise of dawn, And suddenly, the past dissolved, a memory withdrawn.
We nurtured love like fragile petals in spring, Watered by laughter, kissed by the zephyr’s wing. Our scars became a constant reminder, Of hard times that we adorned, Just to be beside her, And not completely torn.

Timid Man

Timid Man

The ridiculed mind of a man stands between two lines, To stagger in thought, Never to vine. My slivered emotions, As they wither away, Are left to wallow in past decay. To dig at a splinter under the skin, Scratching the surface of catered sin. Wish I was to dead to care, Without pain, And no despair. To fear without trembling, To see without eyes, To feel without touching, To have reasons without whys. To breath without taking, To cry without tears, To suffer without aching, To pass days without years. To live without dying, To fly without wings, To search without finding, To flow without streams. To end without starting, To never hale a dream, To protect without guarding, Nothings what it seems. There's a look in his timid eyes, To afraid to live, To afraid to die. Your betrayed by self illusion, You live in thoughts demise, To be suffocated by deception, And blinded by its disguise.
