The Fight

I will come back for you, you said. Those words echoed in my head like a ringing in my ears after an explosion.
Those words filled me until I realized they didn't mean anything.
They were just air but lacked the same importance that air had.
I held onto those words as if they were equivalent but once these eyes realized, I released them into the night sky.
Oh, how beautiful did those lies look swirling amongst the stars.
The door wasn't always open, and I couldn't chase after you.
Instead, I stayed and endured the destruction that was within these four walls, grasping at what I saw others had, an aching yearning feeling in my chest that traveled to my throat.
If I would have clawed it out of me would that have made me a savage?
A savage looking for its creator.
I can't help the thought that if I looked at you, I would look away because you look just like her.
Every day I faced my mirror to see nothing had changed, I'm still bound to this identity that seemed attached to dysfunction.
When the mirror grinned with a smile, I did not recognize I met its gaze with my fist.
The reflection wasn't me but the savage they wanted me to be.
I did not want to be bound to this brokenness even though it grasped for my embrace.
As the sandman weaved dreams, I found me alone in the stillness of the dark, unafraid as I found nights gentle heartbeat soothing. In the arms of night, I found friends, one called night and the other called me.
But I refuse to be their savage, I will not allow you to claim creatorship because I am not your finished product rather an art under construction, that is mine to claim.
I suddenly came up for air, having been lost at tide for so long.
The pain in my back was no longer the same,
no longer from others or from a star's unfulfilled wish but from the wings that grew, taking me in flight.

They carried me out of the garden that claimed to be my roots.

Embers of the Unheard: A Dragon's Poem

In the vault of my beings, a poem is etched deep
It waits for the moment to spread its fiery wings.
Smoldering within, A dragon's anthem, untamed and wild.
Like glowing embers, its verses pulsate with unspoken power.
Awaiting the moment to take flight.
To soar from my lips, to the world it sings.
In the silence of my soul, it patiently resides,
A dragon's poem, waiting to be untied.
So listen closely, for within me it roars,
A poem of passion, of dreams and of wars.
Unleashing its power, like a dragon's breath,
This untold poem defies silence and defies death.

Silent Symphony

In the depths of my being, there resides an relentless craving, a repulsive need to surpass the shackles of humanity.
A siren song beckoning me to shed the trappings of mortality.
So I continue on, fueled by this repulsive need to be something more than human.
To transcend, to evolve, to become a force of nature,
And in doing so, to claim my place among the stars.

You And I

In the realm of love, an intricate dance,
Two souls entwined in a fleeting romance.
Though distance may grow, and memories fade,
In my heart, your presence is forever laid.
If you had asked me in my younger years,
I would have denied any possible tears.
I would have painted visions of eternal delight instead we unknowingly forged armor from the shared wounds we sowed in each other's hearts.
As seasons change and time slips away,
No longer lovers, but souls intertwined,
In eternity's embrace, your spirit I find.
In this fleeting life we roam,
Promise me you won't forget our ties as we wait for fate's inevitable claim, because in the next existence, I'd guide you to heaven's doors where angels dance.
When you gaze upon them, a sense of belonging will embrace you, for in my eyes, you've forever been an angel. They shall perceive in you a reflection of their own souls, they will offer you the sweetest of greetings: 'Welcome home.'"

Bleeding Memories

In a world unknown where time's river flows in a different arc.
My mother is without kin, no birthing marks.
No drugs seduction, no choices dire,
No shadows of regret, no burdens to tire.
At her parents' grave, a moment so deep,
Love's touch lingers, farewells to keep.
I know of the trials her childhood bore,
The struggles she faced, the wounds she wore, But I, too, was a child.
I witness her struggles, devoid of affection,
A child thrust into a world of imperfection.
No bond of love, no shared embrace,
Just the echoes of her past, leaving a trace.
In her wake, a legacy of insecurity,
A mirror reflecting my own impurity.
She sowed seeds of self-loathing deep within. So I say to my mother, a figure from a distant past… In this poem of healing, I hope you find your way home,
May peace embrace you, wherever you may roam.

Loves Reluctant Farewell

In the tempest of our love, I stood my ground,
Embracing the whirlwind, the chaos unbound.
Through the agony, the tears that drowned,
I clung to you, in love profound.
I cherished you with a fervent flame,
In the heart's crucible, I staked my claim.
In a cosmic dance, fate spun a new thread,
To remix our saga, where possibilities spread.
You unlocked my chains when my courage wavered, deceptive bindings that left me unsure. If faced with the choice of you or my final sigh, in life's ultimate test I'd choose you….thank you.
