One Life To Live

My heart yearns to be reciprocated
Every good heart deserves to be loved

The passion is still strong yet dimly lit
Keeping the faith as the fate is growing
I’m feeling faint and falling to my knees
Loss of breath, depth, and height

I'm losing my firm grip slowly letting go
My palms are sweaty, my spirit is frail
Disconnected from the rest of my being
I’m weak, limber...fluctuating high and low

I am invisible, silent like dead flies
Falling from the night's sky like a tear drop
In mine eye, a red river is flowing
You can see lonesome shadows of despair

Hearing cries of help during the midnight breeze
Pain and agony, hurt and betrayal
Blank slate is naive too soon to prevail
Escaped from reality and plumeth...

Buried six feet under with soil and dirt
Ashes to dust like crumbling particles
My soul evaporates into thin air...
Was my identity lost or stolen?

You have one life to live so live it
To the fullest as if it were your last

The Fool That I Am

I am such a fool
For trusting you
I had strong faith
You stole it away

I am such a fool
For believing in you
My kindness and respect
Meant nothing to you

I am such a fool
For loving you
I cared for you
Nothing was returned

I am such a fool
For defending you
Stood behind you
Every step of the way

I am such a fool
For allowing you
To take advantage of me
You escaped so easily

Im am such a fool
Took your abuse
Endless betrayal
No sigh of relief

I am such a fool
I own to my fault
Should have known better
Than to follow my heart

Ode To Self

Joy and laughter
Fill your heart
Embrace beauty
Found within

Love and passion
Fill a void
Embrace romance
Loneliness is sorrow

Lust and sin
No escape
Embrace temptation
You're only human

You are strong
You feel weak
Embrace emotions
Express yourself

You are you
I am me
Embrace difference
Welcome indifference

Take the good
With the bad
Embrace reality
Of life itself

A Quarter of a Century

Lost in misery
Swimming in guilt
Bewildered with emotions
Vulnerability is a given
Patience is running out...
A quarter of a century is near

Happiness is bliss
Loneliness is sorrow
Lust is temptation
Love is genuine
Life is unknown...
A quarter of a century is near

Eternity is forever
Escape is unreal
Freedom is granted
Success is confidence
Anything is possible...
A quarter of a century is near

Live your life
Happiness is within reach
Love is in sight
Make it a reality
Be optimistic...
A quarter of a century is near

Know thyself
I am who I am
No one else is me
The glass is half full
Brace yourself...
A quarter century is here

Seasons Thank You Prayer

Thank you for the birds in the trees
The flowers that bloom in springtime
The wet raindrops from the clouds
The rainbows across the blue sky
The warm summer sunshine
The little fish in the deep sea
And all the animals bigger than me
The green grass on the ground
The colourful leaves that fall in autumn
The fluffy snowflakes and frosty snowmen
And for all the silent winter nights

We thank you, God
From the bottom of our hearts
We love and appreciate You
For all the wonderful things You do.

I Am Me Again

Sweetest kiss
Gentlest touch
Softest caress
Humble embrace

Kind words
Warm heart
Legs trembling
Eyes fluttering

Tears of joy
Release of laughter
Genuine smile
Caring soul

Spirit is uplifted
Faith is restored
Trust in God
Peace is found

Wall’s broken down
Intentions were heard
Feelings are mutual
Happiness is bliss...

I am me again!

Torn Apart

I am torn
Between love and lust
Stuck in the past
Lost in the present
Future is unknown

Lonesome self
Running back and forth
Into the night
Shadows of despair
Light is unforeseen

Walking on water
Into the sea
Soul is thrown deep
Waves of turmoil
Guilt, free-spirited

Desperate attempts
Falling through the cracks
Dirt and soil
Crumbling over me
Six feet down bellow

Calling angles
The Heavens above
Take me with you
To be born again
Peaceful with oneself

Blank slate
Turning a new leaf
Rid of red sin
Soul is uplifted
Cleansing a black heart

Dont' Judge Me

Narrow minded you say
I don’t think that way
I am open as can be
One day, you will see

I am free spirited
So it’s been said
Life is unexpected
Secrets are unknown

Regrets are repeated
Love is unfound
Money is not made
Self-respect begins to fade

Lost in devotion
Puzzled with emotion
Between all the uproar
But one day, I’ll soar

Gain acquired tastes
Without saving face
Reach for the stars
Drive fast cars

Become wealthy
Exist happily
Live the dream
And ultimately succeed

The Unspeakable

Mood swings tormenting
An attitude developing
A tear appearing
A smile fading
A face pouting
Shoulders shaking

Chills gallore
Crying some more
A look of disgust
A feeling of hate
Loosing the trust
Having no fate

Heading for trouble
Becoming a rebel
Crossing the borders
Disobeying all orders
Being disruptive
Rather than productive

Everyday you live
Becomes more repetitive
Something happened to you
Left without a clue
Unable to admit you knew
The impossible would come true

The Bitter Sweet

You cannot trust someone
Until you have complete faith
You have to know them
Inside and out
Looks can be deceiving
Your mind keeps triggering

You think you really know someone
Until they stab you in the back
They laugh and judge
Strip away your innocence
Your tolerance decreases
Loss of control and peace

You feel cheated
You feel weak
Incredibly hopeless
Struggling, gasping for air
But what do you do
When a fool plays a trick on you?

You cannot help yourself
Sumoned by the devil
You take it out
On anything in sight
You throw a punch
With all of your might

You beg and you plea
Without a care in the world
You cry and you scream
Then you suddenly stop
And begin to crave
That bitter sweet taste
