The Bitter Sweet

You cannot trust someone
Until you have complete faith
You have to know them
Inside and out
Looks can be deceiving
Your mind keeps triggering

You think you really know someone
Until they stab you in the back
They laugh and judge
Strip away your innocence
Your tolerance decreases
Loss of control and peace

You feel cheated
You feel weak
Incredibly hopeless
Struggling, gasping for air
But what do you do
When a fool plays a trick on you?

You cannot help yourself
Sumoned by the devil
You take it out
On anything in sight
You throw a punch
With all of your might

You beg and you plea
Without a care in the world
You cry and you scream
Then you suddenly stop
And begin to crave
That bitter sweet taste
