While You Were Sleeping

I watched you while you were sleeping,
Even though I was not there.
I watched you while you were sleeping,
Just watched you breathe your air.

I kissed you while you were sleeping,
Even though I was not there.
I kissed you while you were sleeping,
Then ran my fingers through your hair.

I held you while you were sleeping,
Even though I was not there.
I held you while you were sleeping,
You know I took great care.

I missed you while you were sleeping,
Because I was not there.
I missed you while you were sleeping,
There’s so much I want to share.

So think of me while you’re sleeping,
I will be well aware.
Think of me while you’re sleeping,
And I will be there.

I Love You With All My Heart - Acrostic

I want you to know how I feel about you
Like a schoolgirl I giggle and coo
Obviously I want you to feel it too
Very much so, it is very true.
Every day and every night
You’re on my mind, and shining bright
On top of it all I know it’s so right
Under your love, under your light.
When I think about your soul
I think of something that is whole
This is something I want to console
Happiness is there, real and bold.
Ask not why I’m in love with you so
Let me tell you, so you’ll know
Louis you’re special, your heart is aglow
Making me happy and oh how it shows.
You are the one that is for me
How can anyone possibly not see
Excitement and love and possibility
And never a reason to be angry.
Real is this love so deep and so true
Thank you my Louis for just being you!

I Chose To Look the Other Way

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT MY POEM...I WANTED TO POST IT ANYWAY BECAUSE IT'S
IMPORTANT. ANYONE WORKING IN INDUSTRY SHOULD SAVOUR IT'S CONTENS AND
SHARE SHARE SHARE IT!!!

I Chose to Look the Other Way.

I could have saved a life that day,
But I chose to look the other way.
It wasn't that I didn't care,
I had the time, and I was there.
But I didn't want to seem a fool,
Or argue over a safety rule.
I knew he'd done the job before,
If I spoke up, he might get sore.
The chances didn't seem that bad,
I'd done the same, he knew I had.
So I shook my head and walked by,
He knew the risks as well as I.
He took the chance, I closed an eye,
And with that act, I let him die.
I could have saved a life that day,
But I chose to look the other way.
Now every time I see his wife,
I'll know I should have saved his life.
That guilt is something I must bear,
But it isn't something you need share.
If you see a risk that others take,
That puts their health or life at stake,
The question asked, or thing you say,
Could help them live another day.

An Ode To Bad Drivers

Each day as I drive on the roads of my town
I wonder what the hell is going down?

They’re here, they’re there, they’re everywhere
Bad drivers make me want to pull out my hair!

There are those who drive slower than molasses
And those who clearly need better glasses.

They pull out in front of me, then slow me right down
Even though after me, no cars are around!

They stay in the left lane, no matter what
Man they need a good kick in the butt!

Nobody knows how to signal their turn
Those ones I want to set fire to and burn.

The jerks that turn left from inside lane to out
One of these days I know I will shout;

Are you for real? A moron? A loser?
Next time I’ll ram right into your cruiser!

A traffic cop I would so love to be
But to jail I would go for brutality.

So bad drivers take note of my verbiage,
I hate you so much, you bring out my road rage!!!

How about giving common sense a try
Or I might one day really make you cry.

Better yet - the best thing for us
Give up your keys and take the damned bus!!!

Mind, Body, and Soul

I hear your voice and my mind’s at ease
It knows you’re there for me
I hear your voice and go week in the knees
Your effect is easy to see

I look in your eyes and my body melts
It wants to touch you so
I look in your eyes I have never felt
Such a warm and pleasing glow

I think of you and my soul awakes
It knows whenever I do
I think of you and my heart it aches
It wants to be with you

I feel your touch and my life’s complete
It’s never been this whole
I feel your touch no one else can compete
I love you mind, body, and soul

The Chair

Hello my best chair, and how are you?
I suppose you’re ok with nothing to do.
‘Yes I’m ok’, I heard from the chair
Hold on a minute, what was that there?

A chair that speaks? How can this be?
‘It’s easy’ it says, ‘about time you heard me.
I’ve been crying for years, under your butt
Wanting some freedom from this chair-rut.’

I’m sorry my chair, I never could tell,
‘Well since you’re now listening, your butt smells.
Oh yes, and don’t let me forget
You’ve never even cleaned me yet!’

‘How would you feel, please answer me,
How would you like to be a settee?
People sitting, all fidgety and farty
It’s even worse when you’re having a party!’

I’m so sorry chair, but now that I know
You can speak to me and tell me so,
I’ll try my best to show you some heart
And I’ll leave the room when I have to fart!

Destiny

From the moments not long after birth,
Our presence is put upon this earth.

From that moment until we die,
Everything has a reason why.

Our path is set before us all,
Whether we stand or maybe fall.

Be them controlled by the skies or the Gods,
We all must face our own worst odds.

But the ones that are born open and strong,
Will endure all the tests that come along.

These lonely souls may sometimes cross paths,
It’s up to their fate, whether they stop or they pass.

But if two souls were destined to be one,
Into each other again they will run.

Until once they meet and they can no longer cease,
The fate that awaits them, complete and pure peace.

For you my dear Louis, my true other half,
I am so grateful this time we didn’t pass.

What Is This Feeling?

What is this feeling I have deep inside?
What can explain it, what can describe?
Is it happiness, joy, am I struck with awe?
It is all of these feelings, so deep and so raw.

I’m lost for words with this feeling of joy.
The feeling in knowing I’m not just a toy.
But a person, a human, a life it’s so true,
A person amazed by the person that’s you.

I’m hit by this feeling, so real and so bold.
Hit so hard that at times there’s no cold.
Instead there is promise, warmth and light,
The feeling in knowing it’s simply just right.

So what is this feeling, I ask you again?
I look inward for answers, I ponder and then,
The answer it hits me, as if from above,
This feeling I know, is true and pure love.

Two Hearts

When I look up to the stars so bright,
I think about your heart’s sweet light.
A light so bright I can always see,
Shining like angels through your eyes at me.

When I look up to the moon so full,
I feel so deeply our magnetic pull.
A pull so strong it makes me wonder
Is this a dream? I sometimes ponder.

When I look out to the sky so vast
I’m so thankful because at long last,
I’ve found my perfect match, my fate
I’ve found in you my true soul mate.

When I look beside me and you’re not there,
I feel sad, I miss you so, but I’m aware,
That where it matters you’re close, you see
Deep in my heart, you’re always with me.

I love you Louis!

My Heart

My Heart
For Lady (My dog)

You took my heart and made it yours
When you came to stay

You filled my heart with love so deep
Each and every day

It breaks my heart to have to watch
As you slowly fade away

In my heart you will always be
In eternal rest you’ll lay

I aches, my heart, but I know,
We’ll meet again some day.
