Hubert Zar Poem
Bold King Leonidas and his band of brave men,
Marched forth to meet their fate at Thermopylae's glen.
The Persian army, vast and fierce,
Hailed arrows down with deadly pierce.
But Leonidas stood tall and firm,
A Spartan king with a heart that burned.
He fought with might and with great skill,
And led his men with iron will.
Their shields held strong against the foe,
As they struck back with a mighty blow.
For three long days they held the line,
Against the odds, they fought divine.
Though outnumbered and outmatched,
The Spartans fought with valour unmatched.
Their bravery and sacrifice,
Became a legend that would never die.

Hubert Zar Poem
Roses are red, and violets are blue,
I've been meaning to ask, would you like to come through?
We could go for a walk, or grab a drink or two,
And see where the night takes us, just me and you.
I promise an evening of excitement and fun,
Maybe we'll share a kiss if our hearts beat as one.
So what do you say, will you be my date,
For a night of adventure and maybe even fate?

Hubert Zar Poem
In ancient tales of myth and lore,
There lived a craftsman wise and sure,
With skill and cunning, he did create,
A pair of wings for his son's fate.
Ikarus, the son, was filled with glee,
As he flew high, so wild and free,
But Daedalus warned, "Do not soar too high,
For the sun will melt your wings, you'll die."
But Ikarus was young, his spirit bold,
And he flew too close, too uncontrolled,
His wings did melt, his fate was sealed,
As he fell to earth, his life revealed.
Daedalus wept, his heart so sore,
As he watched his son fall evermore,
A tragic end to a tale so bright,
A father's love, a son's flight.
