Roger Roger Poem
Land of gold
Glorious Pearl of the Orient
There's a story untold
About warriors of valiance
They snatched victory
From the hands that prey
To conserve liberty
And preserve autonomy
The raiders of foray
Armed with guns and steel blades
Pounced forward in a hurry
On their way from their ships
But the brave warriors stood
They were willing to fight
No one could have thought
They'd triumph with their might
Armed with their wooden blades
They pounced through the waves
They assailed the surging tides
With the courage in their hearts
When the minds that invade
Met the hearts with courage
The mighty raider laid to rest
On the shore far from crest
Yes, they were the brave
Who fortified the gate
So the feet of foray
Could not land on the way
His chieftain's shine
Was engraved in his shrine
Where his glorious divine
Would be honored through time
In commemoration of my country's national heroes' day

Roger Roger Poem
Still bodies piling in spooky dress
longing for last touch of sweet caress.
On the street are young hearts lying lifeless.
Shouting joy at this point and time is heartless.
In the blink of eye, hopeful souls faded away.
The clear horizon suddenly turned to a mist of gray.
What some could do was to drop their knees and pray
but muttered words were all that they could say.
May such misfortune in such dusk of time not happen again
for the orphaned hearts hardly find a way to take the pain.
May God bless the souls of the hearts that were slain
so the lives they lived will not fall on the hands of vain.
One could hardly think that time would give birth to an ache like this.
May the faded souls find a way to climb the hills of bliss
so the mourning love will not ache so much for the hearts they miss.
May the lips of rapture greet the weeping evening with a calming kiss.

Roger Roger Poem
My mind traveled in Casablanca
to witness a tale of love.
Heart that yearns, desiderata,
pleads to heaven up above.
Give me one more chance for loving.
Quench the drought of this crave,
for I so longed of having
the heart that once absconded.
I've seen princess Anastasia
proving her rights for crown,
heading her way to Russia
amidst darkness of the dawn.
Her mind was blur like fleeting
but her beauty was overflowing.
Her charm like a stream was oozing,
sending waves of sting
Capricorn hereunder
could you tell me what's the matter?
For my heart gravely falters,
tame the shakes and all the shivers.
I toured the avenues of her soul
and plunged my heart in her dungeon.
Her beauty I so adore
enslaves me like a pigeon.
But freedom I detest
for paradise is her fortress.
Her fairest skin like milk
shines so bright to light the darkness.

Roger Roger Poem
He drew her ear to their story,
wishing to rouse her memory.
He looked at her as he read her notebook,
trying to change her puzzled look.
He chanted her name every morning,
hoping that it could make a ring
on festive night when they first met,
her cosmic charm stole his breath.
At times they played under the rain,
he planted her inside his brain.
Though she was rich and he was poor,
true love has led him to her door.
The mystic tale of their burning love,
the night they swore on stars above;
He showered her with a true love's kiss;
A kiss that even a flint would miss.
Although they'd part, they'd reconcile,
she'd patch the wound in his smile;
And in the end, they made a vow
to hold on to their love somehow.
And though her memory was gone,
he'd not forget that she's the one;
And though sometimes, he felt so lonely,
he'd loved no one but her, her only.
Together, their time had come to fade,
beside each other, they have laid;
The tale of their love lived forever
for it's inscribed with the glow of their ember.

Roger Roger Poem
He was once a brave warrior, burned to death and sent to hell
But the devil, hearing his bidding, brought him to life with a fiery spell
Maleboglia was the devil's name, and he pledged, he'd serve him well
As to the end course of his destiny, no one could really tell
Went back to earth, he had no trace of his real identity
For, the devil Maleboglia has clouded his memory
In a state of faint confusion, his memory had come vaguely
Blurry flashback of his shrouded past had come so painfully
The fate of his love did not come beautifully
His best friend took his wife's heart, and he felt betrayed deeply
Five years have already passed since he died in agony
Had it not been for his new purpose, he would have gone fiercely
He battled thugs and pedophiles who murdered children brutally
One of his mortal nemeses was a fierce thug named Billy
With his might and iron will, he became King of Rat City
In the War of Heaven and Hell, he claimed Hell's throne rightfully
His dream of hell as paradise did not come materially
For, in twists and turns of fate, his reign ended hastily
But his hallowed destiny inscribed a track in history
For, he braved heaven and hell for earth to live in harmony

Roger Roger Poem
Solitude, a loud shout made without a word.
A sweeping blade of a raging sword;
A hidden cause, a dripping flow of unseen scarlet;
A laming pounce made in secret,
For a cause that they themselves don't understand,
Like a slight sway of a swifty hand.

Roger Roger Poem
Poetrysoup, a place to forget your worries
Where you can share freely your stories
Where there is no one to judge
For, no one harbors a grudge
It is a place where all folks are even
It is a solace, a safe haven
Where broad minds love to dwell
And charm each other with a spell
Where flattery rise from the truth
For, creativity yields to fruit
Where the bitter makes you better
And the sweet becomes sweeter
Where love and care kills the hate
For, everyone knows how to open the gate
Of understanding and compassion
Despite the friendly competition

Roger Roger Poem
Ginger bread man, run, run, run!
Christmas time is time for fun.
Bring some toys, come and play;
Make some noise this holiday.
Little children wait for you;
Snow man, make some few.
Ginger bread man, make some toys;
Give some gifts to girls and boys.

Darkness fades and morning falls
Wipe the past and tame the sorrow;
New dawn breaks and sunshine calls
For a light of new tomorrow.
