Silence is the teacher
Spread in bed
Time should forgive us
You caress my troubles
An invitation to my pleasures
You awaken my senses
Despite my inner seizures

Comforting silence, something about us
I've chosen to love a rainbow of colours.
Eyes communicate what tongues fail to dissect,
soul to soul connections, regardless of our consent.
Bodies make love as they intertwine,
like souls who've met before our time.
Laughter, lively, feeling up the room,
who would have known I could comfortably spoon.
As I watch you take portions of my problems away,
I fall deeper, diving into the well of a clichè.
Time stands still, to witness lips kindle with intention,
manifested is our utmost, unknown invention.
Transparent, thorough, genuine, rare,
I'm honoured to have experienced you, my dear.

"Money is the root of evil",
but who is to question those who pocket from young minds,
as they drown themselves in liquor,
exhausting their strength to perform, show up and carry on?
Beauty compliments a sex appeal,
all those who have made it,
have become somewhat surreal to who they could actually be.
The abuse of power had nothing to do with their utmost desires to become the greatest,
led astray by those who have pressured those too young to make it out on their own.
Farewell to those who have bared their hearts for our ears,
to ease our minds off life's lessons in defeat.
Farewell to the beautiful minds,
fractured hearts and cheerful souls,
R.I.P to the 27 Club.

Is it too late to ask to be unbirthed?
Born into a world of greed, selfishness and fame
brings me no honour as I am without any yet
need to have in order to live
Unnecessary pressure
Can my mother unbirth me, please?
Am I here to be a doorknob, welcome mat
or shoulders to cry on?
Shoulders, yes, the more the merrier right?
Drowning whilst having to breathe another day
caught between their misconceptions,
perceptions and perspectives
none of it brings me closer to hope
Hope for my own validations,
ambitions or identification
of my own sexuality
Like I don't have my own issues?!
Excuse me if I adult cry
Every other time
Excuse me if I have to lash out
Sometimes you need to leave me out!
Get out!

I'd bathe you in my Love,
sponsor you peace like a dove,
lotion you with my embrace,
so the sun's rays could kiss your face.
Though undeserving of what I give,
I'd teach you kindness, so you could receive,
be most vulnerable, cater to reciprocation,
appreciate me through this education.
I pride off my soulmate's teachings,
to share all I have, beyond my healings,
her listening skills have restored all hopes,
engaged are past troubles, regardless of who provokes.
True Love comes by the most random hour,
but it will teach you its unwavering power.
