Ghost!

A head or a tail- which does he lack
I think his forwards coming back
He shimmers through a wall as if a ghost
Looking for a better host
It seems as though he’s spotted me
My body begins to shake because of what I see
I start to run as fast as I can
Now he’s where he last saw me stand

A ghostly body floating after me
I’m scared I’m frightened of what I see
Looking back to see if it’s there
But what I see is a shiny red glare
It’s coming closer what should I do
Again I run from this scary pursue

Now I’ve run from that scary pursue
I start to think of something new
I count to three
Saying there’s no one chasing after me

Now that I’ve regained all of my confidence
I’m ready to over come this hindrance
I run left I run right
Hoping nothing will come in sight
I manage to make it out the door
Now I don’t have to witness this anymore

Winter Again

Leaves spin
because of the icey wind.
Filling with anything
but chagrin.
Allowing me to deduce
it is winter again.

An array of multi-colored leaves
both high and low,
dance and flutter around
the fluffy-white snow.
As frost bites through my shoe
in search of my toe.
I deduce it is winter and
continue on with the flow.

Big and small,
we will hang them all.
Green and red,
what a colorful ball.
I deduce it is winter
and hang them in the hall.

Kids who sneeze
from the cold winter breeze,
always end up on their knees.
Usually begging for "'NyQuil' please."
Again I deduce it is winter
and tease.

Some leaves,
some wind,
nothing too big.
Not even a sin.
"Boy O' Boy" am I glad
it is winter again.

My Life

My life is a failure
Every time I try to rise up
I fall down
My life is a failure

I dream of things
Which I hope to achieve
But as I age
It seems to rise higher
As my life descends lower
My life is a failure

The more I try the harder it gets
My life is a failure

No stop
I am not a failure
I am a success
I am what was made of me
I am what I dream to be
I am what I make of myself
I am Lorenzo Carty

My Gurl

As the wind blows
Through the cold winter air
Even though I'm alone
I know you're still here
With me through the good
With me through the bad
You can make me smile
Even when I'm sad
I'm happy to have you
Here in my life
Hopefully soon......
You’ll become my wife
All I will ever need,
in this world
Is for you to be my girl
And me to be your guy
Together we can make
Our dreams come true
If you are with me
And I’m with you...
I love when were together
And I hate when we're apart
Even though you're far away
You’re always in my heart

Livin' Fo' What I Believe In

Fight with your words, not your hands. Stand with your feet, but not on sand. For life is to short to try and keep up with a tan. Smile with your heart, and not your face. For joy comes from within that special place. Learn from your mistakes, and grow each day. For I learn, choosing the right path, begins with today

You Are

You’re the one I like,
You’re the one I want.
You’re the one I will not taunt,
Everyone’s nice,
But you are as sweet as rice.
Even if you are my kite.
You make me wait for sunlight,
For you to teach me.
I am astonished by your beauty.
And I am always by the hall,
You are the one that looks like a doll.
In the middle of fall,
If you recall.
I will miss you,
Even if you turn blue.

One Day of the Week

One day I'll be successful.
One day I'll be creative.
One day I'll be talented.
One day I'll be gifted.
One day I'll be given
all the credit I deserve.
One day I'll be intelligent.
One day I'll be wealthy.
One day I'll be important,
but on Monday I'll be loved.
On Tuesday I'll be thanked.
On Wednesday I'll be grateful.
On Thursday I'll be blessed.
On Friday I'll be at rest.
On Saturday I'll be remembered.
On Sunday I'll be needed, but
Today I'll be
Just Me.

Your Eyes

YOur EYes

your eyes are a window to your soul and heart
but what I see is more than that
it is the love that I am seeing now
as I look deeper into your heart
I see an unoccupied space for me
a place that I wish and hope to be
a place in your LIFE
a place in your SOUL
a place for a for a man within your HEART
a place I see within YOUR EYES
