Sabotage

My reflection wears a mask
Face painted to hide my tears
Camouflaging hidden fears
If anyone tries to get close
I shatter like a fallen flask
Killing all hopes

Colors

I close my eyes, I see nothing.
A warmth surrounds me.
I focus on the light within.
Suddenly I feel serene.
Outside thunder crashes my
eyes spring open and the lack
of light takes on new meaning.
The city lost electricity.
I light a candle and watch the
colors of the flame dance.

Politician

People rising up against their brother
Only out for themselves, no other
Lavishing themselves with riches
Inspiring people with truth switches
Tasting human blood along the way
Incites politicians for more prey
Celebrating the unnecessary strife
Instilled upon every human life
All the unrest will soon be gone
Now is the time we must move on.

Mistaken Identity

It is almost midnight
The mist blankets the beach
I feel a chill coming from inside
My heart is pounding
The throbbing in my ears drowns
out the sound of rushing waves
I know someone or something
is watching me
I clutch my chest, hoping the
tightness will lighten my fear.
I hear heavy breathing
I brace myself for the unknown
I force myself to turn
Starring back at me is a stray
German Shepherd with his
tongue hanging out
Hoping I had a tasty treat
to appease his hunger.

Haunting

The lone wolf howls
A full moon glows
My warm blood chills
As loneliness amplifies

Harmonize

Tune
Move to the same beat.
Create harmony.
Sound waves of international peace.
