Bed of Thorns

The clichés drum upon my skull
Pounding pulse
Of rapid heart beat.

“Choices of today
Limit Opportunities of Tomorrow”
As once again I fall to defeat.

Though another directs the puppet strings,
‘‘Twas I who decided to wear the rings.”

“Thy bed
Thee have made,
Now ye lie upon It

And of thorns it be"...

Ripping to shreds thy spirit
As cold tear drops fall free.

'Tis the price ye pay for thy needs
The walls close in upon thy seeds,

Attempting to strangle all new growth
Blocking the green of leaf
From light and dark,

Both.

Stretch as far as ye can reach
And when ye feel ye can NO more,

Bend a little then go for breach
To take that last inch for thy door.

Once ye have grasped thy portal
At its very edge,
Forget that thou art mortal.

Pull with empathic
Humane strength

From deep within
Thine own entire length.

Ignore thy bruises,
Wounds and searing pain,
They will only
keep thee to remain

Prisoner to their ruthless hold.
Physical needs will grow thee old.

Ye know that thy spirit
Is of light and energy

Capable of the shift,

The change,

To this Blight,
This Lethargy.

Into thy ally or weapon of deceit
To conquer thy next foe of conceit.

Choose as thee know of
And for thine own right,

Chanting high thy Wyrd
Deep into the night.

Upon this path ye must
Follow
As ye sense & seek,

Yet appears to be hollow
And cannot be seen.

As the power of blue
Will reveal unto you,

This dimension of thy Maiden of Nine
A glimpse of Her Laws--fragile fine.

With what ye know to define
Clearly drawn the narrow line.

Cross it,
Leave behind what ye
think ye need,

For earthbound
Choke ye will
On the weed.

As it devours and consumes thy soul
That which ye have done, begun to sew

For ye do and always will come to reap
Thy earned rewards ‘tis what ye keep.

Upon this path of freedom and integrity
Dues to pay for a life of liberty.

All life forces
Large and small,

From astronomical to microscopic
In the three of nine; one and all ...

Survive by instinct,
Innate logic.

Ye See,
Ye Do,
Ye Receive.

All ye do in folds of three.

As Ye Have,
As Ye Shall,
As Ye Do.

Bring harm to none
Would it be unto you.

Then Ye Shall,
Walk the Walk,
Talk the Talk,

And Live,
To Give ...

Unconditional love as only ‘tis it true
For the warmth that dwells

Within the Light of Blue...

Catalyst of the Times

A dragon of cobalt blue I think 'me' to be As I glide through the mist wild and free, The scales of my breast and tough leather of my wings Are what glistens in the pale moonlight as I sing. I am more like the Pacific Ocean at high tide, As through each and every emotion I will ride Feel the intensity being logically emotional. Thoughts are just as exquisite when emotionally logical. Balancing precariously on the precipice of time As I try to find the harmony with rhythm and the rhyme Of why I have been sent to this earth my home In the third dimension as I am alone. A stranger am I, to this the human race As upon this winding trail I must now face. All perils to my spirit and soul Calmly death avoids my ‘Self’ to know Peace at last for I must complete the journey first the universe will unfold for better or worse. I must learn to live not trying to die As mine is not to question how or why. A dragon of cobalt blue Empathically here for truth.

The Miracle of Life Is You

I have often wondered how I could possibly make a difference in the fortitude of the many lies that listens not, to truth of consequence. So I thought I would put to paper with pen my thoughts on how our chosen life begins. "Don't be too proud to be strong" say the words of the song, "Don't care what people say, follow your heart in your own way." Return to innocence and believe in your self, Not in despair, placing innocence on a shelf. Believing in love does not make you weak, Love of the Self makes it possible to keep Respect for all life and love for humanity. First and foremost release the pain of reality. As the rain cleanses the air and the earth, so it brings forth life, growth and rebirth. So do your own tears cleanse your crying soul. For life is a gift that you have come to know. As hope springs forth to guide you with light, Find peace within first, before you take flight. To bring love and peace without by whispering or with a shout, your love of Self and all humanity is a force present to balance polarity. Believe in you; believe in innocence. Acceptance of Self is the first essence To help you and others in despair and pain, returning to innocence with your spirit's rain. Your tears will cleanse as they are meant to do Forgiving Self by believing the miracle is you.

When the Rich Wage War

when the rich wage war, it is the poor who die
overflowing their bank accounts as they lie

hiding behind niceties as they make us slaves
wars made to control us, which they create and crave

when will we learn that segregation is to take?
not just our lives, homes and human rights are at stake

but our very souls as they bury the light within
greedy addiction their only means to a dead end

creating the armageddon to prove true false prophets
we bought into their “good book” as right and philosophic

it is easier to place our sins under another’s blame
accept forgiveness, as we turn inconceivably insane

society claiming no responsibility for their actions
defying the laws of decency in self-righteous reactions.

absolution is not possible in our religious fervor
we despise ourselves internally as sheep and follower.

jesus might forgive our sins, and that a slim chance.
will those we torture and persecute join this happy dance?

nothing will become nothing and so it shall return to be
that we are insignificant as human species.

when the rich wage war, it is the poor who die
without the poor the rich cannot feed their lie.

no one is left to support their arrogant farce
destroying planet earth, corruption on the march

slavery, pride, taking of life (any life), lying and cheating,
coveting the jones’ wife or boat or house, abusive wife beating

in the name of their god that is not balanced in polarity
is the way to chaos and darkness in the laws of scarcity.

believing that your actions are not your own
belong to a horrendous force, the cyclone

thinking that you are above judgment of deeds
is foolish, arrogant, capitulates and concedes

to empty spaces in heart and mind
for darkness to dwell within and find

a breeding ground for despair and pain
chained to the physical you remain.

when the rich wage war, it is the poor who die
without the poor, the rich cannot feed their lie.

As the Rain

As the rain comes pouring down, and patters against my window sill,
I think of you, and how wonderful you make me feel. How much I truly
love you, like I love the rain; with all of my heart and all of my soul.

It (the rain) and you make me feel so young and vibrant. Even though I
am old and far from a spring chicken these days. I hear the wind blow the
storming skies around and think of how you breathe on my neck, giving me
soft kisses, and breathing quietly in my ear.

Then my mind wanders to your kiss. Your kiss that is so soul searching,
and passionate. Your blue eyes that look at me and sparkle, like they are
two sapphires on display for their brilliance.

As I wander through my memories of you, I think of how perfect our
bodies fit together, snuggling close, and nothing could feel more right.

You are the man of my dreams. The one I dreamed of often and asked for
from the Goddess & God on my 366th day and initiation of choosing my path.
The one man on the entire planet that matches my passion, intelligence, sexuality, and mindfulness of others in the world.

I find I need you more and more every day.

And oh how I miss you, so very much. My love for you goes deeper than
any ocean, goes higher than any mountain, and encompasses my entire existence, each and every day.

Yet there is a sadness in my heart, with teardrops streaming down,
as I remember and realize, we will never take this love of ours to the
next level. It will always remain a rendezvous. A stolen moment,
locked away where no one will ever see us together.

That golden moment is better than nothing at all, so I push the sadness
away for a short time, wipe my eyes dry, so that I might just enjoy
you for these stolen moments.

And the rain storm silently leaves the sky with thunder
echoing off the mountain tops...

And so it goes...

Renascence

Rebirth of a movement, for the people, for the human race.
Enshrined in our memories, an adventure to live with grace.
Nucleus of our freedom, justice and our liberty, all encompassing.
Animated by individuals seeking new life, a new beginning.
Submitting to our visions for a place to call our own, and a home.
Conclude no longer are we the silent majority and alone.
Emergent of the sleeping giant, as a voice, we become one.
Nexus as the stewards of our planet mother earth to fecund.
Cultivate our talents in unison as a community
Emulating all we know to be right from wrong, instinctively.
