James Scriviner Poem
So to you,
My love:
In a moment
i
ponder,
with resolve, I call.
Without distraction I
move affectionately
to your life.
Resolutely,
to capture a morsel
the images that you portray.
I have a wander lust;
unquenchable I seem.
I am a reed; a stick
lying near the drink
of an oasis.
I long to move my roots
into sumptuous bounties
and soaking delights
of your wondrous waters.
I am so in need to let the dry branches of my soul be lavished in
the life force of
your being.
I dream
I chase.
Be the answer
the repose to my quest.
I have blown in from the desert.
The wind that carries me is hot.
Now, where I stay is in solitude
and threatens to mortalize my existence..
Though I meander in the mysticism of Gods and Angels
I feel a beckon to unloosen my wings
to fly.
So I stretch and flutter.
Poised on a ledge, I listen for the call.
"Please take me and I will be Yours."
I will unleash
the drive within me.
I will reciprocate your soothing lotion
with a fire that only you
deserve.
Do not neglect my burning
and I will not negate your
passions.
To you I call!

James Scriviner Poem
The music of my mind
is a melody
resounding in my heart
reaching for notes
that I can barely hold.
I sing
by voice
a song
that can only be known
while I'm with you.
And the tones
that I feel
are frets
fom a chord
inspired by a creation
toward a symphony
in orchestration
of hopes and dreams
with you.
I play
for your happiness;
Enlightened by a beginning
that never
knows an end without joy
and holds a stanza
that carries
forever
My Love.

James Scriviner Poem
Shadows falling on my mind
I turn to hear the whispers
from behind
And oh
as I turn
I begin to feel a yearning,
a burn
inside;
and then,
I know
a feeling I cannot hide.
It is a glimmer,a shimmer,
of something I once knew...
So I reach
to the far
and though
as a distant star
grown dimmer
just a shadow falling on my mind.

James Scriviner Poem
Ah
to look into thine eyes
and cast a shadowy glare
to break that misty stare
to open the portals
to an endless journey
into your heart
that is my thrust
and never dying lust
to embrace your rosy lips
upon a golden moment
and hold it
in a crystal space
ever so gently
never to break
the way you move and glide
like a shimmering tide
a settling curve
upon my nerve
and to make this boast
is my toast
to life
and you.

James Scriviner Poem
where does the line we draw
begin
is it somewhere behind
or before;
is it between us
lost in the tangle we step
inordinate
to be
within the line?
what a jagged jig we jag
among a potpourri
that of
tin cans and broken branches.
we kick to clear
our way
sometimes skimming
sometimes skipping.
lost and crazy
it seems
crossover, crossover, crossover
because we draw the line.
how 'bout a hyphen?

little tears
little words
coming soft
hitting hard
laughing lightly
crying quietly
wishing
wondering
hoping

James Scriviner Poem
darkness ends
by lights'
cascade
in a daliance
of irridescence
blending the color
of joy
spilling
over jagged edges
of troubled hours...
and,
in this moment,
where
fringes of pain
are smoothed
by a ray of brightness
I linger in thought
with lights' cascade...
and my mind
drifts
dazzled
in a myriad;
a dancing;
a daliance
of irridescence...
and,
as it feels,
"dreams can come true",
in this hour
all becomes filled
with thoughts
of you:
The color of joy

James Scriviner Poem
Somewhere
over the hill
far far away
lives
a man and a fool
and his dreams
together they sit
to drink of their wine
and to spend their time
in wild wild winds
to breeze their truths
and to stir their fires
the fool is a company to man
and dreams barks to the stars
for the fool
Somewhere
over the hill
far far away
lives
a man and a fool and his dreams.
