Money

Money can buy,
        A diamond ring.
             Money can put your
                  Ass in a sling.

                      Money can buy blood,
                   It cannot buy life.
It can buy a mansion and
           A mail order wife.

             Money can buy a bed,
                It cannot buy sleep.
You can have lots of it,
                      The harvest you still reap.

                   Money can buy a computer,
               It cannot buy a brain.
            You can save it,
Or pour it down the drain.

            Money can buy food,
               It cannot buy an appetite.
                  You can hide it,
                    Or be in the spotlight.

Money can buy a face lift,
               It cannot buy beauty.
           It can buy you some,
       Other guys booty.

        Money can buy a house,
           It cannot buy a home.
              It can buy drugs,
                  You can stay stoned.

            Money can buy luxury,
        It cannot buy culture.
It can turn the best of
People into a vulture.

Money can buy acquaintances,
   It cannot buy a friend.
       It can be a means
          To a bitter end.

           Money can buy sex,
       It cannot buy love.
    Money cannot buy a seat
 In the kingdom above.

I am Farrah Fawcett,
Poster on the wall.
  I am a rotary phone,
When I made a call.

   I am, Boss,

   I am Pablo Escobar,
And his cocaine.

   I am Queen with
Freddy Mercury Live.
   I am the Bee Gees,
Talking that Jive.

   I am vinyl, 8-tracks,
 cassettes and CDs.
I am, make love not war,
And Hippies.

I am where is the beef?
Don't squeeze the Charmin.
   I am Cheech and Chong
and George Carlin.

   I am SNL when it
Was funny.
   I am Happy Days,
And a Playboy bunny.

   I am M.A.S.H. and

   I am clackers, tang,
And a Pet-rock.

   I am, conjunction junction,
What's your function?
   I am Patty Hearst and
Her abduction.

Daily Events

I can be selfish, insecure
 And mean.
   I can hide my dirt,
I can choose to come clean.

   I make mistakes,
I can be hard to handle.
   I can bring peace,
 I can bring scandal.

   I can be rough,
 I can be rude.
   I can bring a smile,
 I can ruin the mood.

   I can change my mind,
 Or stay the same.
   I can sit it out,
 I can play the game.

I can go with the flow,
 I can make a wave.
   I can mind my manners,
 I can misbehave.

   I can speak,
 I can remain silent.
   I can be gentle,
 I can be violent.

   I can be difficult,
 I can be easygoing.
   I can stay the same,
 Or continue growing.

I can say the wrong thing,
 I can be shrewd.
   I can hold it together,
 I can become unglued.

   I can choose to teach,
 I can learn.
   I can leave here,
 I can return.

   I can walk away,
 Or stay and represent.
It is all about how I react,
 To daily events.

Ship of Fools

If you strip away our skin, We are the same. Where we differ is thoughts In the brain. If we are not cremated, We are six feet down. We all end up as a pile of Bones in the ground. Your heart pumps your blood Just like mine. We share the same sky and Sunshine. The color of our skin is A pigment. You and I are not that Different. There is male and female and Something in between. Born with the anatomy of a king And feels like a queen. The difference lies deep Within your mind. You choose to hate and Be unkind. No one is trying to take Anything from you. We want to be allowed to live The way you do. To be happy, in love, and raise a family. Overlook the difference, Bond with commonality. Is it that big of a deal if, The dude looks like a lady? Who cares if Dan wants, To be called Miss Daisy. You are not in charge, You don't make the rules. You are just the captain on A ship of fools. The Haunting

You used and abused me hung me out to dry,
You kept telling me you love me but that was just a lie.

You fake the funk but then you never have lost at this game,
You are number one star on the betrayal walk of fame.

The first impression you appear sweet and naïve,
It took some time to realize I've been deceived.

I did not feel the steel was not prepared for the attack,
The woman I love gone leaves me crippled and lying on my back.

I lay there in a helpless heap scared and alone,
How did I get here and how do I get back home.

You’re a coward won't look me in the eye,
I thought different so I gave it a try.

A cold blooded serpent woman stared back at me,
No recognition of who I might be.

Nothing familiar was in that stare,
I still can't believe what I saw there.

I will never shake that image from my mind,
It will Haunt me until the end of time.

Be Legit

No one is real, We all have a dual face. Find someone who can, Excite your taste. People respect money, Not the person. Money can be, A Beast of Burden. The one you love more, Is the one that hurts you the most. The rest of your life, You live with her ghost. When you're happy, You enjoy the melody. Life is full of fun and Prosperity. When you're sad, You feel the lyrics. You get crap from The critics. Patience is hard when You have nothing. Alone with your thoughts, It is something. Check your attitude, When you have everything. It's often assassination, That kills the king. People want good looks, They don't want good people. Most times the intentions Are mean and evil. Failure slaps you out In the open. It floods you with, Anger and emotion. Success hugs you In private. It’s true, You can't deny it. A poor person, He has no fake friends. He has no money, To give or to spend. When the time comes, Own your s___t. Lay it on the line, Be legit. Turbo1904?

THINGS I KNOW

What goes up,
 must come down.
  Not all lost,
Can be found.

  Money is the root,
Of all evil.
  Doves do not fly,
With the eagle.

  Addiction is alive,
And real.
  Not all medicine,
Can cure or heal.

  No one here,
Gets out alive.
  People talk a whole,
Lot of jive.

  Once you say it,
You can't take it back.
  When you argue,
State the facts.

  Misery really does,
Love company.
  A few live the
Life of luxury.

  All is fair in
Love and war.
  People are rotten
To the core.

  Thrills are not
Cheap.
  It is easier
 if you turn the
 other cheek.

  Love really
Is blind.
  There are words
Between the lines.

  It's true,
Opposites do attract.
  Read, before you sign,
The contract.

  Wolves do,
Wear sheep clothes.
  Life is easier,
If you go with the flow.

Don'T Sweat the Small Stuff

Live beneath
your means.
  Stay behind
the scenes.

  Return what
You borrow.
  Live each day like
 no tomorrow.

  Own yours,
Don't blame another.
  One hand washed
The other.

  Listen more,
Speak less.
   You're always a
Work in progress.

  Do your best
 Be on time.
  Some things have no
Reason or rhyme.

   Handle your business,
No excuses.
  Be kind to others
Don't be abusive.

  Have a conversation,
Do not fight.
  When you leave,
Travel light.

  Be nice to people who
Are unkind.
  These little things bring
Peace of mind.

  Always cultivate,
Good manners.
  Be on the look out
For the scammers.

  Stay humble, know when
To be quiet.
Be a part of the cause,
Not the riot.

   You know when
Enough is enough.
   Don't sweat
The small stuff.

Addiction

Let me introduce myself, My name is Addiction. I make you an addict, Without your permission. I take you to heaven, I bind you to hell. You can't break away, You're under my spell. I wreak havoc on Your Self-esteem. You live in a nightmare, I steal your dreams. I take your happiness, Turn it to despair. I play tricks on you, You're unaware. I take your home, Family and friends. A repetitive cycle That never ends. I take moms and dads, I take the children. I collect souls of all kinds, By the zillions. Fentanyl, heroin, Cocaine or meth? Jails, institutions, And Mr. Death. I will take everything, You hold close and near. Do not play with me, The outcome is severe. In case I forgot to Mention. HIGH, my name is ADDICTION! Turbo1904 ?
