Toy

Whose love do I wait for
what person god has made
who comes to steal my heart away
who will I lie with in the shade
who will give me false joy
and slowly break my heart
who will come to love this girl
then leave her in the dark

Why the Listner Cries

Hearing all of your problems
the big and the small
in the back of her mind
the listner calls
for the consolment and attention
you recieved just the same
while the listner sits
alone in her rain
counting the hours
the minutes, the seconds
till her name is called
she sits and she listens
bidding her time
jut waiting to see
if anyone notices her sittin
see's that she has her own thoughts
that are spinning
but no one can see her
they all keep on talking
spouting their problems
they all keep on walking
passin the listner alone in her rain
leaving the listner in all of her pain.
watery eyes
this is why the listner cries.

Love Lost

Whispers of your love
across my chest
soft touches, and a smooth caress
beautiful eyes, windows to the soul
A fairy tale love, soon takes it's toll
warm salty tears, cloud a beautiful smile
warm sunny days
turn to cold stormy nights
A lovers lost
brings a widow's cry
A sad hello
and a soft goodbye

The Perfect Friend

Because you took the time
to comfort all my fears
because you were the main source
of all my chants and cheers
because you read the book
and not only the cover
and what you didn't understand
you took time to read it over
You walked me through the process
of starting a new life
and picked up all the pieces
when things weren't going right
I thought I'd take this time to say
I'm grateful to the end
although I haven't said before
you are the perfect friend

Through the Open Door

I was standing there and did not go
through the open door
I had every chance and still I stood
outside the open door
I could see the life I waited for
just through the open door
still there was fear so I did not
go through the open door
the voices whispered in my ear
can't you see the open door
hurry now hurry go
through the open door
fore if you don't its sure to close
your chance will be no more
and as I built the courage to
go through the open door
I heard it creak, then heard it slammed
and watched the closing door
and I collapsed and cried and cried
because i did not go
I cried until I heard a voice
I heard it say to me
you cry because you did not go
I gave you every chance
but because I love you so
I opened up a window

Believe

Little children listen please to what I have to say
In life you'll find the negative will fight real hard to stay
But if you keep you head up an follow all your dreams
you'll find life not so hard to bare
if only you believe
So no matter what the people say
you can be anything
nothing is to out of reach
don't let them spoil your dreams
you'll find life not so hard to bare
if only you believe
