The Perfect Friend

Because you took the time
to comfort all my fears
because you were the main source
of all my chants and cheers
because you read the book
and not only the cover
and what you didn't understand
you took time to read it over
You walked me through the process
of starting a new life
and picked up all the pieces
when things weren't going right
I thought I'd take this time to say
I'm grateful to the end
although I haven't said before
you are the perfect friend

Tyesha Ehigiator March 5, 2009 at 11:36 AM Such an amazing dedication filled with love, appreciation and recognition for your friend..It is hard to find friends that will be there through thick n thin because good true friends are hard to find but if you are blessed to have found one, treasure them always.. Never take them for granted because they might not always be there, so let them know with every chance you get just how special they are and how much you appreciate them..Thank you for sharing this lovely write..God Bless*Tyesha
