Meaningless Rhymes-2

A clever horse grazes grass before the dawn phases,
out in the open field, a man gazes,
and amuses as destruction causes.

Due to a river changing courses,
Due to the man's travesty of resources.

Meaningless Rhymes-5

Stumbling through existence
having passive days and active nights
your happiness a facade
contemplate promises were made
wonder are they kept safe
but past is a cloud of haze
don't look any further don't turn your face
it was dawn when i met u it'll be dusk when we call it a day.

Vantage Point

Serenading you with my sincerity
assembling praises in your name
your one glance falls in place
a thousand emotions it resurrects.

Dawn is the new dusk
you pretend and wave it off
but the beauty in it
like an elephant without a tusk.

I wander to find peace
to render apologies apiece
my state of mind eloquent of a mirage
and I stay true to this farce
reality sickens me to the core
bringing redundant conversations to the fore.

Dredging up new barriers
setting up new boundaries.

Parsing life stuck at this juncture
now I run slower
and a lot less hunger
our differences like embers
time smouldered them
now settled beneath the ashes forever
still flickering by power of faith
memories waiting for someone to remember.

The Blue Walls

Painted in blue reminds me of the blues,
maybe I was undercooked got them a reason to overlook,
my talents wasted my energy drained in proving myself over again,
but all went in vain,
when you didn't turn back rather turned your back,
on me, you couldn't hide your glee,
happy like a bird set free,
me being a fool waited for ya,
the sweet salt got me baited for ya,
evasive my tone pervaded with gloom,
on seeing the walls painted in blue reminds me of the blues.

Keep Moving

Happiness cascades sorrow transpires
mind's oblivious to unfulfilled desires
The day I woke up and cleared the shambles
guilt was a stone tied to my ankles.

Ponder should I keep moving on,
cause I have come a long way
gone the whole hog.

Its a misery of sorts
when I try to complain,
it kind of retorts,
reap what you sowed, repent but
keep moving on.

Untitled

Time passes and I'm glued to the monitor,
Swiping articles on a greased up screen,
Some are absurd, some are obscene,
But how do I care,
As it sits on the lap I’m its janitor.

Acting like a sane handler,
But things go insane quickly,
With multiple tabs open how sickly,
I want to read them all.
The vital cog is I never go in-cog,
And the days I have missed the jog,
Blamed it all on the smog.

Getting the results but the process is getting wayward,
Trying to prohibit procrastinating profusely,
But my luck’s out of favor.
I’m in the danger of a mighty fall
My eyes are watering down,
While I mow the lawn
The time passes and I reminisce
I have traversed many dawns.

He and She

Goes with someone but leaves alone, he lives in denial but hopes for a sweet alright, dreams have stopped he burns the midnight oil, afraid to sleep consciously he chases the dawn, he smiles and hides, slides his hand collects his bite and leaves everything behind.

She is thankful she is wise, pretends to be nice sometimes her smile suffices otherwise swings on an extended olive branch to make amends on her side, the glint in her eyes staring at the fork in the road she chooses to walk alone in broad daylight, leaves a message, all good in hindsight.

Awkward Takes

Somedays I rise not wakeup,
clear the clutter for sake of,
preaching the so-called notion,
and giving scruffiness a remotion,
for what they say and not what I feel,
is true only in the world which is reel.

So afraid to be alone or with a lot of either,
with a bunch of millennials,
I talk about space and ether,

Kind of person I have always been,
someone like me you must have rarely seen.
All I need is a lineman to protect my blindside,
I'm stuck in a dark tunnel waiting for a high beam.

Meaningless Rhymes-3

Yes its true,
Stopped waiting for you,
Served aces easily once,
Now I get no love from you.

He contradicts then preaches,
Advices flying none teaches.

So you roll up your sleeves,
Let the green arteries speak,
Volumes about your struggles in the day,
And in the night you may weep.

Reflections

Hey you! what do you do, what's your name,
and why you seem so weird;

Why so silent and timid like a deer,
Why you don't act like us, why you won't interact with us;
Do you have any problems or any underlying fears?
Alas, you enquired my friend,
All your stereotypes have hurt me badly,
As spectacular as this world is,
just see through my rimmed spectacles
how unfair were you sadly,
gladly I held my own, like a horse with blinders on,
spending my nights chasing the dawn.

I reflect back and smile,
not meek but rather unique,
I was, not a pawn a knight I was,
at times in life, you need to sit back and reflect,
the pain would go away slowly,
cause it's easy to hurt but takes time to heal.
