Women

"From the top of the cliff...
I look at the houses below...
With the walls and the roof all the same..
But all with a different story inside of them...
A different story for each woman held behind the closed doors...

Some homes may allow a woman to go out...
To work and to earn a living...
To support their houses and to make decisions...
To give the house an extra shoulder to reply on in absence of a priority member...
To live a life of balance between personal and professional ..
Some homes may allow a woman to go outside...
But not to earn a living...
To meet friends but not to stay with them...
To give some opinions but not make decisions...
To talk to people but also to avoid people...
Some homes may not allow women to go out side...
To be locked with the doors and its boundaries....
To be binded with the chains of responsibilities....
To be just a house wife...
Or to just be quiet during a decision...
To avoid talking to people or being beaten up...
To live a live where the outside world seems unknown...

Every woman may live in a different scenerio....
But all deserve to be in a environment where boundaries are just for display...
Respect is not a joke...
Responsibility is not only till the kitchen till the children...
Going outside to work is not a dream...
Being beaten up is just a myth
And the only scares that would come be accidental...
Everyone and Every Woman deserves that"

Alley

"I took the roses...
Dressed my best...
Held my heart...
And said what i felt...

The answer i knew...
Would be a no or a yes...
But never i thought...
It would be the reason that came from my past...

Sad by the rejection...
I returned home...
Walking back from the same roads...
I came from...

As u walked down the dark alley...
My future was overshadowed by my past...
The light i wanted to walk towards...
Had been lost in the dark...

I wanted to be good...
But they labelled me as bad...
I tried to raise my hands for friendship...
But they all turned their backs...

Things never got easy for me...
But i made myself strong...
All i learnt from life was...
The problem wasnt wid u...it was in the peoples eyes"

Her

"Sitting on my bed...
Holding my phone in my hand...
I hear the rain outside...
The memories i had of you..
Came back to light...

So long had i wished to meet you...
To spend a day with you...
To follow you wherever you went...
To be your shadow...
A shadow that never follows the rule of light...

The moments you were angry...
The times i made you sad...
My tries to make you smile
And the tears that came out of your eyes...
The regret i carry for those moments...
Are beyond something one could measure...

The times your called...
The ways you talked...
Your voice when you laughed
And your naive attitude when you said...
Whatever ??...

The secrets you told me...
To the voicemails u sent me...
I listen to them regularly...
To find a reason or another just to message u daily??....

Time passed the memories remained the same...
The ages increased but the distance remained the same...
The bonds deepened but the progress remained the same...

Every night before i sleep ..
I always look at your pictures and smile...
In a hope to meet you one day...
Atleast while iam alive"

Broken Dreams

" A broken hand is fixed wid bandages...
A broken heart is fixed wid someones love...
But what about a broken dream..
What can that be fixed with...

Can it be fixed wid money...
Or can it be fixed it a degree...
Or could education fix it...

The dreams in the eyes of the parents...
When sending us to school...
The hopes in their eyes...
When buying food for us...
The moments they slept hungry...
So that we can sleep full...

All of that so that we can be something...
A doctor..a pilot or an engineer...

Lucky those who have parents..
Wb the dreams of those in war countries...
Wb their dreams...
Instead of books their hold guns...
Instead of searching their parents...
Children search for revenge...

The day passes in wars...
The nights pass in shelters...
The foods are the waste and remains...
And the clothes are the remains of the bodies...
The dreams burned to ashes...
Ri8 by their own hands...

Is it too much to ask for a world...
Where there are dreams and thoughts...
Where schools and colleges...
Are not burned down...
Where parents dnt have to sleep hungry...

Can we have a world?....

Outcast

"As i stand there...
On the edge of a cliff...
Isolated from the society...
I think of the things that make me an outcast...

The darkness that filled my eyes...
The shields that prevented me from seeing the light...
The colors of the world the path of the roads...
Are all but in my imagination due to my failure of sight...

Is it what makes me different from the others...
Or the others thoughts different from mine...

The tears we cry...
The blood that comes out...
The soul in our bodies...
Are all but the same...

Is it that i cannot live in a world of my imagination...
Or is it too much for some to handle...

Is my blind sight seen as an inferior to the society...
Or is it all blinds are seen as an outcast...

As i reach my death..
The few words i wanna say...
Thou the world may move on...
Thou there be great inventions..

But making someone an outcase wont make u great...
Not now...not ever
