No One Is Perfect

Don't know why people boast and stand erect,
As I have heard no one is perfect.
Is it only money or power for this cause?
And for this, should I boo or applause!

Different people have different thinking,
But everyone wants to fly.
We've seen trees arguing with plants,
I don't know why!

Crows looking at Peacocks for their beauty,
Peacocks looking at Crows for their flight;
Stating that no one is perfect,
Isn't that right?

Besides perfection,
Think of attaining success.
Just be determined;
Have a strong will,
Otherwise it'll be a mess!

Winters

Dense fog meandering around the conurbations,
Body in the blanket; feeling cold sensations,
Oh man! 5 seems an early one,
If it'd have been summer; roads be full of joggers ton

Winter Buddy becoming dominant over my schedule,
Mom! It's only 7; Am not fool!
Although, sleep seems as sweet as sugar
Making us a professional 'job-skipper'

Indolence might be the winter's best buddy,
Body declines to go out while our mind declines to study!
Days are short and the nights are long;
Days becoming more short by sleeping all along.

We think about summers in the winters,
And, winters in the summers forsooth,
Verily, the dilemma is in our mind!
Which rings old age in the youth

Influence your mind instead being influenced by the winter,
After all, it's not a freezer!
Absorb the sunrays in lieu of fog,
C'mon man! learn something from the sedulous stray dog!

Ensuingly, summers will come and the winters will go,
Rather it depends upon you,
Either show your flair or let it go;
Nevertheless, the seasons will come and go!

Nature

Woke up in the morning and moved towards the balcony,
Felt the breeze attractive; spotted some birds tiny.
Wondering why every morning is so special,
With some new vibes and a new potential!

Hours just flew by and the afternoon came,
I sprawled and then played a game.
My body became torpid and so was my mind,
Only the dullness was left behind!

I went outside and got engaged with nature,
Found vivacity like a hidden treasure!
Clouds floating, birds chirping allured my eyes,
I was in love with this paradise!

I came back and rested for a while,
With the gift of nature, which was a smile.
The other distractions didn't distract me,
As I was already distracted by the nature's beauty!

In the night, I was gazing at the moon,
Through the window in my room.
Recalling my whole day situations,
Thinking that, nature would be the best remedy to avoid distractions!

I concluded that afternoon time would not be always dull,
Rather, it depends upon the people.
Those who could keep the distractions aside,
Would have joy and tranquility by their side!

Our mind is a void in the dawn,
Having least distractions in its lawn.
That is why morning seems a special time,
Till the clock struck nine!

Let us keep the distractions far,
To come with the geniuses at par.
Distractions will always try to distract you,
But be a more vigilant or else become a statue!

Still In My Mind

The shore seemed a bit different,
now not like that,
when We used to come.
Sea didn't allure my eyes,
Water didn't soothe my mind,
The sand wasn't that relaxing.
Closed my eyes,
curious to know the reason!
Tried to hold her hands,
Realized I was alone right there.
