The Storm

The wild storm rages on like an angry giant,
Yellow lightning bolts through the sky like fiery weapons
As it’s thunderous voice shouts and echoes furiously.
The wind shrieks like a pterodactyl,
It’s icy feet grip the house as tightly as a brick in the wall.
The rain beats incessantly against the window like a hammer.
Inside, the fire greets us like the sun on a hot day.

The rain fills the streets with rugged floods
Driving people out of their ruined homes.
Trees forced to the ground making that spread far and wide.
Big bangs of thunder make people jump!
Lights whisper, then poof, a black out has begun.
Nobody knows where they are, families huddle to keep each other warm.
Shed roofs flying from garden to garden.
Don’t go outside,
The storm is horrendous.

Lonely Winter

Winter comes around once each year,
It’s a time for laughter, joy and beer.
The end of the seasons. Or is it the beginning?

Well to me it’s the end of disapointment
And the start of cold times to come.

No shelter for me,
No family.

Just on my own looking in,
Looking in the window, staring at the warmth of your fire
As your oh so perfect family sit around the table,
Oh what a joyous occasion.

But me....I still sit and hope, pray that i won’t be on my own.
Lonely forever.

Words Cannot, Love, I Don'T Know

Words, They cannot express how much you mean to me
But i will think,
I will try to find the most beautiful,
Meaningful,
Heartfelt words.
Put them onto paper.
Swap them around so that i might just touch the edge of what my heart feels,
Of what you mean to me.

These feelings, I have no explanation of where they have come from,
I know not what they mean,
All i know is that i long for you,
The touch of you hand,
Your angelic smile.
Am i in love....?

I do not know, but i do not want to miss the chance to find out.
I know you still care; I see you worry when you shouldn’t have to,
I see you from across the room.
Our eyes meet.
But you look away as do i.
Although, i don’t want to look away. I want to keep looking at those beautiful eyes, even if
only for a minute gives me the best of feelings and i believe you have the same.

I can’t just turn around and say goodbye,
I want to look into your eyes and never have to look away.

My anger rages at the thought of you and this boy,
Who does not deserve the right to be called a man.
My temper is uncontrollably escaping.
I don’t like it,
You don’t like it.

I cannot handle the fact that you may never be in my life again,
It breaks my heart to think that i have lost you.
I never go the chance to show you,
Show you what you mean to me.

I would dedicate every waking hour to you,
Just so you can see what i feel.

I cannot stop thinking about you fore everything about you is just.....uuuhhh......words
cannot describe....beautiful....stunning....unbelievable....gorgeous....but heartbreaking.

Don’t leave like this.
Don’t leave.
Stay.

Addiction

This addiction,
Like blood will always run through his veins.
Never stopping just waiting for that kick,
That satisfaction from another one
Carries him further.

Further into denial?
Further to the truth?

Throwing everyone back who tries to get close.

One man drinks another man falls,
drink is the only escape from eventual and inevitable sorrow and pain.

This person is a mysterious person.
Hard to read.
Doesn’t know the true person who lies inside.

This is me.
I think, I’m not too sure who I am.

Just constantly looking for the one who will show me.

My life is the addiction that won’t stop.
Why do I do what I do?

The Old Tree

A time of innocence, laughter and joy,
Not a care in the world....no money problems...never caring what you look like.
Just happy to be there.
With the ones who make you happy.

Old memories are the best of memories.

The old tree with its indistructable barrier holds many thoughts,
now overgrown with weeds..leaves fallen leaving only it’s bare stem.
The tree which once held life, a place to sit,
Just something to look at surrounded by history.

The old tree where it stands is what used to be life...

Now it stands alone.

Left to a life of sadness and eventual suffocation of green rope then...
No more.

How times have changed.

Fear

To have a heart is to have a weakness,
                                        And to have a weakness
                                                    Means
                                             You have a fear,
To have a fear is to be vulnerable.
                                             Don’t let it break.

                                          Death is my weakness.

Once you are dead there is no fear.
The biggest fear has already appeared,
                                                    Death,
                                             The end of us all.
It is near, you just haven’t realized it yet.

Life is short don’t waste it.

Death comes to those who wait,
                                        What are you waiting for?

I am waiting for my fear to disappear.

                                          I am waiting for death.
                                                  Aren’t we all?

Red

Like the blood spilt in a lifetime;
Just dripping down the drain
Like an overflowing street being suffocated by the rain.

The devil and all its evil escaping into
Everywhere and anywhere,
No one can hide from the redness
Of evil,
It’s all around us.

If Only

If only she knew how i felt,
I wonder,
Would her heart melt
If she knew how i felt.

Will i ever know?

Everything about her is beautiful.
The way she laughs,
Her perfect smile,
The way in which she is silent,
For just a minute i can truly see
That she is the girl for me.

Whenever i see her, my face lights up,
But when she sweetly hugs me
I feel joy and sorrow.
Fore i know although she is in my arms
That she is out of my reach.

She cannot love me.

And i will find myself standing at my own front door,
Looking at myself in my own mirror
Thinking that same thing as my life drifts away
Into the darkness,

If only i told her.

Darkness

In the pit of darkness
you shall find the light.
You must search inside yourself,
And the light will guide the way.

In this guiding light you will
find the confidence you seek,
You will find the answer!

Let your mind wonder,
Stop your worries
And just think.

What do you want?
What do you feel?

Amongst the darkness
there is always a guiding light,
You must find your light
and hold onto it.

I give you this copy,
Read it well,
Fore what you think
and what you may do
could determine the rest of your world.

That Feeling

I love the touch of your
soft, gentle skin on mine,
as we dance close together
in the glistening moonlight.

I love the feel of your warm breath
on my cold, dry skin
as you move in to moisten it
with a kiss that would seal our fate.

I love that when we first meet
you catch my wondering, sky eyes
from across an impossible room,
i feel warm, in the pit of my stomach.
i miss that feeling,
and so i shall for time to come.
