If Only

If only she knew how i felt, I wonder, Would her heart melt If she knew how i felt. Will i ever know? Everything about her is beautiful. The way she laughs, Her perfect smile, The way in which she is silent, For just a minute i can truly see That she is the girl for me. Whenever i see her, my face lights up, But when she sweetly hugs me I feel joy and sorrow. Fore i know although she is in my arms That she is out of my reach. She cannot love me. And i will find myself standing at my own front door, Looking at myself in my own mirror Thinking that same thing as my life drifts away Into the darkness, If only i told her.
