Where Ive Always Been

The air in this tomb sticks to my lungs offers no relief
The moments of comfort are short and brief
the darkness engulfs all of my senses
like the wrapping of guilt in so many confessions

maybe i deserve this twisted fate this ironic end
what i wouldn't give know just for a friend
my body grows weaker as the ordeal carries on
i pray this time tomorrow i will already be gone

laying in this bed i feel its my coffin my casket
don't know where I'm going but ill get there in a hand basket
even though i know its almost over regret seems to be my only companion
inside there is enough sorrow to feel the grand canyon

this late in the end i cant find the strength to speak
so much left unsaid am i wicked or just weak
i think people are here with me voices and a familiar face
the people i love cant follow me know they must stay in this place

if theres more after this life has passed me by
ill wait for you all on the other side
i hope I've left fond memories with you all
you kept me standing after every single fall

Faith Keeps Us Apart

It seems the path Iam on is changing everyday
the road uncertain just an endless shapeless gray
some would say it would all be clearer if I took up there religion
even with the doubt Iam not scared enough for that decision

I see the faith you placed in one of the many saviors
I lame excuse for the centuries of mad behavior
Iam sure your prophets where the very best of man
but your church and bibles where never in the plan

so every race has a version of there own
stories stolen from the gods of the past spoken out like it was always known
not one of these faiths is open and understanding
they keep others down and your soul churches are demanding

then you history holds no science no enlightenment
dogmatic foolishness written before free government
and every soul that is afraid to die or to ashamed to live
if you stop thinking then heaven is what they give

even now the human mind is found wanting
but reality is intelligence is hard work and life is daunting
if only the concept of good will and love
we understood without some sign from above

if you need the ancient fiction to ease your pain
I respect you and to all other men you should do the same
your saviors were righteous there’s know doubt
in there time they worship but no church was there twist whets its about

there have been many Christ’s since the beginning of man
the Mayans and Muslim have had tales since they ruled by the roman
dry king ghandi and many more sacrifice there life so others could be free
in my mind that’s what Jesus is what he is supposed to be

even know there some man of great worth he has no money no powerful church
he’s giving of himself and and loving the lost I dare you to search
and see the truth were in this together and this is paradise
we are the only keepers of our fate we must realize

I can no longer people pay to pray and talk down to others who dont believe what you say
but Christ himself did not hang with the saved he knew the hopeless so he could see them ok
but times have changed were not ruled by religious empires mad with slavery
we fought for those rights not with one mans good with collective human bravery

a new age is upon us and the true test is coming not one of prophecy
the makers of worlds the stars the cycle of suns chaos of the galaxy
I hope soon we see are only time is now there is no second chance
are race needs to come together and make a united stance
if faith keeps us apart do we even have the heart

And the Toil of the Gods Was Great Part 2

And the toil of the gods was great paert 2
Soon the inescapable truth will come hurdling home once again
We may face the end of life and dreams or we may finally ascend and be reborn
Together we must forge the path forward so as one we can understand where we have been
Once again they will set out in search of sustenance for a home that’s bloody and torn
In their code they will take with then the infinite knowledge of the ancients
Another planet a different sun, light-years away more of our people toil on
Now as we face the summit and re nearer the apex we do with their absence
Too much time has passed since the first fathers came and since they had gone
This immortal spirit remains trapped within this fragile shell
Our souls and blood hold the key to a powerful wisdom but the lock evades us all
Still the war is raging no gods or demons and not for tales of heaven and hell
A boundless eternal soul is the prize, defeat will be fatal the ultimate downfall
So many questions we ponder so often oddly frequent
What evolves to feel dread or fear where’s the need to dread ones own death
A celestial being is meant to be whole and completely transient
The coming test we must not fail or we will all share our last dieing breath
The veil can be lifted and the secrets in the palms of our hands
Moving thru time hurdling in space as the universe expands
The true forms we were denied but with salvation we may return to the creation
No longer bound no longer chained and never again forsaken
They forced on us the mind now the peace and liberty must be taken
Soon will see we all die or become one aware feeling boundless wise immortal and free

				AND GOD SAID LET {US} MAKE THEM IN {OUR}
IMAGE IN {OUR
] LIKELINESS.

A Boy and a Girl

I remember the day I first saw her face on the school bus such an uneasy place
we both were shy it took months just to talk soon enough we would always walk
from the stop to her house were I d stand uneasy the sweat would pool in my right hand
One night late after school she came to my house I tried to be cool
she asked if I would like to go out of course I did but I was nervous anxious filled with doubt

we spent a whole summer just hanging out some times I got so nervous I wanted to shout
I recall how she first placed her hand in mine I was sweating so bad I was losing my mind
the touch of her fingers in my sweaty palm gave comfort unknown and a relieving calm
I realize now she was just as scared but she seemed so calm ready and aware

she became my very best friend but even I knew the summer would end
before the fall came an took her away we spent time with each other everyday
a few weeks before school started again we went to the park are spot back then
she looked in my eyes for ever it seemed I was confused and young I almost screamed
then she leaned towards me with the sweetest touch she said shed miss me very much
and then it happen her lips searched and found mine out in that moment it removed all doubt
an innocent peek between dearest of friends learning how such things have there ends
after school started that year she moved away I have not seen her since that day

Forever she holds a piece of my heart the innocents we shared was ours from the start
even tho Ive grown a lot since then that young love is for thick and thru thin
we never took not a thing from one another we held each other up learned from one another
I wonder if she thinks of me I think of her and lonely nights I hope she lives happily
youth is something you cannot keep I miss those days on the grass we would sleep

somewhere inside the shy little boy waits for the day he might see that girl once again
the soul that taught me how to love and to be loved how to end and how to begin
I know ill never see her again I know its only memories something lost to the past
if I would have known it would end that way and be over so quick so dam fast
I would have told her more of the true me maybe then Id feel whole at last
sweet first love I hope you find a life of love and find your faith in the god above
she will always been in my heart and mind and for now we must leave us behind

Have and the Have Nots

grabbing at straws the luck of the draw
some live big some live raw
a few like gods on hills of gold
every things fine just do what were told

A man on the corner needs something to eat
money walks by thinks dirty deadbeat
separated so the poor don't offend
at least when your down no need to pretend

late at night at the castle on the hill
a drunken success pops another pill
doesn't talk to his kids doesn't have real friends
his wife loves spending and the hottest new trends

a mother and her children prepare for the meal
what little there is seems so surreal
Everyday she struggles to provide
all she has is love and great strength inside

the driver takes him to the company he owns
he makes money by working others to there bones
always watching for a worker whose down
to remind them hes got the best jobs in town

eight sharp she takes the bus into work
she works for sol ittle just to please some rich jerk
the boss points out maybe its time for some new clothes
hes pays so little cares nothing for what she owes

the girls need braces but theres no way to pay
she smiles real big and says well get em someday
but shes knows she probably wont ever afford
she can barely make rent on her own accord

when he enters his mansion he feels quite alone
a beautiful house but know sign of a home
he decides it be better if workers lost there medical coverage
the company will save and even the overage

two people so very different one thinks hes what most people want to aspire to
the other wonders how long she can hold two sick days she'd be out on the street
the first one is selfish drinks every night avoids his family and lies a lot to
the second is down but will never give up and her children love her she is so sweet

these two people we see everyday I'm willing to bet you may look away
she just doesn't know how to save irresponsible i hear people say
when you see the man in his top notch suit and perfect smile
i hear people say what an outstanding man i like to talk for a while

When i see the man in his thespian role i feel a ting of pity in the heart in the soul
all the money doesn't help him see the person he his the one he could be
when i see the women struggle all day i wonder why we aren't all this way
her strength and courage virtues indeed a path of love is always richer then one of greed

Fire Mother

Cold morning greets the weary eye clouds drape the horizon in gray
I turn around avoiding the sight I cannot stand with a dreary pale day
And then I feel it on the nape of my neck A hint of warmth kissing my skin
I turn around gazing out my window and see in the gray light the size of a pin
I try not to build on my hopes the thin ray of light might be gone in a tick
And then it happened the clouds parted way amazing ling quick

within a moment I was a washed in light blinding brilliant and glaring so bright
it was like the day had defeated the night leaving the world with breathtaking sight
The orb of energy colored the sky in outrages shadows and countless hues
the godly object painting its art from star to star the cosmos its muse

I moved with a pace to open the door I flung it open with a giddy delight
the clouds burned away by the waking of ra the life giving force of comfort and might
the rays that touched the flesh of my face washed in warmth a faint tingle
Colors above began to dissipate lose there sharpness leave then un mingle

now the sky retains the majestic color of the all welcoming blue
now nothing can stop the suns life and energy from making it through
the moments I spent outside my front door revitalized my heart filled my soul
I dare not stare into the great star the center so bright a positive hole

I stood there soaking up the nectar my skin absorbing the vital beams
Before this day I thought the world could only be this beautiful in our dreams
Iam not sure to this day how long I enjoyed it how long did I stay
I took the time to indulge in the feeling the blinding array

The golden orb that gives life a chance nourishes its children down below
refreshes my outlook changes the day shinning down for the rest to grow
to bathe in its glory heat on my skin sensations burn from my feet to my chin
summer is coming in its time the way it has always done the way its been

Shading my eyes from the fiery glare I take a last glance at the burning sphere
so filled up inside with light and warmth my lets out a rejoice full tear
Once again it will set in the sky but it doesn’t take long for it to appear
to give the life that we all so crave and to make our days a little more clear
a god to revere a star we hold dear every summer once every year it comes again
to greet us here banish the dark conquer our fear once again I will gaze and ill peer on the
celestial being
that owns the sky the liquid fire mother our sphere

Way Back When

A shame we meet here once again both looking to change the past
Its harder now then it was back then how long can it really last
we used to talk till the sun came up shared our fears and dreams
All our memories poured in a tea cup falling apart at the seems
You now me well my thoughts and soul my victorys and shame
but the years have taken there toll i know im to blame
i broke your heart a hundred times but never meant the pain
I should of seen all the signs but i was much to proud much to vein
every night we sit here like lovers yet we never say a thing
hide me beneath the covers i cant face the guilt your eyes bring
ill never leave you that is true your to much of me im to much of you
a better way i wish i knew you deserve so much more
are love is cold long since dead but still i stand on its tomb
all these regrets in myhead there barely any room
i dont know what the future holds but i know were ive been even thoe you dont love me ill
always love you as much as i did when you loved me way back when

And the Toil of the Gods Was Great Part1

AND THE TOIL OF THE GODS WAS GREAT part1
{I close my eyes and see you there, looking at me. I watch myself watch you. As I look at us
in mind I wonder to myself if I’m seeing myself watching you then who am I.}
Ten thousand years the time that’s past and during the years all our knowledge was lost
Stolen and hidden often misused, twisted distorted or simply fake.
Now in the end at this precipice we start to grasp the weight of the cost
For too long now we have been blinded to what is real and what’s at stake
Our cosmos a chaotic symphony blanketed in an ocean of time
An entire race of beings without eyes to see and the minds of children
Left here clueless alone stumbling clumsily in the dark waiting for a sign
So much disconnection has transpired since we freed ourselves from Eden
Much too obvious are planet is not like us, who or what we are
A circus of gloom bent on destruction to ignorant and riddled with fear
Out in space there where many thriving worlds all rotating around its motherly star
We have been exiled here we deserve the freedom no longer should we toil here
Our failure to see life for what it is, its unique and a space-time miracle
Any life, anywhere, in the vastness of time a single blade of grass is precious and rare
As we consume and devour our forsaken garden for material that is tangible
A young and dieing world full of slaves and orphaned souls, a heavy cross to bear

Black Sand

When you find your early your already much to late all this time now you over compensate
A rush towards the front so we can crawl to the back always flinching from the timely attack
anticapation explodes towards the surface flooding out release its only purpose
Timely ruin erodes the youthful heart corroding the edges lets it fall apart

age and wisdom go hand in hand the curse of life has only one demand
youth and vigor go hand in hand but at that point we dont even understand
in the end we return to the land all these things we were crumbles away into black sand

A hard life takes a serious toll no one to help you madness takes control
lonely hearts lightens the soul to run the great race headlong towards the hole
some live life as a perfect dream while others mostly cry and sometimes scream
good deeds leave nothing to redeem we all lie in dirt or so it would seem

time and space go hand in hand we all must suffer there every command
pain and strife go hand in hand alone we fall and alone we must stand
in the end we pass to the land until we fade and crack turning into black sand

writing this down its quite hard to think today could be it id be gone in a blink
pondering the end leads to the brink no matter how high ones soar everything must sink
it seems to be a very grim notion no matter how hard you swim your consumed by the ocean
live like some mad commotion but time moves straight it knows no other motion

life and death go hand in hand no matter who you are you see others life’s are so grand
fools and liars walk hand in hand each of us all carry these life’s long brand
until the day we return to the land once particles of icy cold lifeless black sand

all of us are dieing only some know when cant control the future but we are were we’ve been
the endless void a thought Iam not akin ill go when I go and not until then
perception is something you have to be in to see our lives stretch and then grow thin
So many hits we take in the chin but the harder I’m hit the wider I grin
because one thing is certain on your journey you’ll be hit over and over again

shame and guilt go hand in hand for all our troubles the end cannot be planned
love and loss go hand in hand we hold so tight by the thinnest strand
until we sleep in the bosom of the land when all of this returns to black sand

Another Year

another year has finished its foward dance one more year maybe one more chance.
as these seasons are born then die it happens so fast they way times fly by
one day the sun bright and blinding your eye the next day its gone only clouds in the sky
color of the winter drains you the endless gray another season for it all to go away
how can one stand beside the clock counting away the year tick tick tock
a constant reminder of our finite time a constant countdown to the final chime
and every year i try to keep the chin high alas every year till the day i die
every fall brings a pang of regret for those i love and those i neglect
the leaves die making room for the new i think we all do the same thing too
spring speaks of a fresh start and relief to those with heavy winter hearts
the promise of sun and a new begining a small clue in alife with little meaning
summer comes we wait all year the days are long the skys are clear
radiating sun keeps energys high but summers so short no matter how hard one trys
so many memories attached to these seasons a million guesses a hundred reasons
the smell of the flower that blooms in may always reminds of long forgotten day
crisp air before the very first snow always hints to me somthing i should know
even thoe this life is so short and fast i would trade nothing fo all the seasons past
i put down my pen and start to reflect no matter what lifes amazing in retrospect
so live each season like it was the end lifes not measured on a watch my friend
its weighed in the hearts of those lived it every ounce day by day bit by bit
another year has gone away so weigh your love everyday kept in a safe place
doesnt matter what this is your life your day keep to that you cant lose face
another year has completed its run soon enough once again greeted by the sun
