Dream

I dream of us every single night
Lying beside you
Watching the sun rise
Those first rays shimmer on our souls
Making us complete,making us whole!

I dream of us every single night
Keeping my head on your chest
And losing myself into you
And when you kiss my forehead
Once again I am renewed!

I dream of us every single night
Taking walk in the park
Hand in hand in dim twilight
you pull me into your gentle embrace
And that right there is my place.

I dream of us Every single night.
Standing by the shore
In the moon light
You holding me so tight..
Assuring you would always be by my side!

I dream of us every single night
You and me will turn to WE
We will have a life together
Mine and yours will turn to OURS
We'll be one FOREVER.

Lockdown

Little did I wonder that I will see a day,
When the world will come to a standstill.
Little did I wonder that world would start looking
Like it does in dystopian movies and novels.
Little did I wonder that the science fictions
Would come so close to reality.
Little did I wonder that there would come a morning,
With deadly silent streets and totally quiet roads.
Little did I wonder that humans will be locked up,
And animals would carelessly stroll the paths.
Little did I wonder that the parks will be void
As children and elders will be prisoners in home.
Little did I wonder that markets and mall could ever close
Let alone become totally soul less.
Little did I wonder we would get some break
Out of our jam packed schedules.
Little did I wonder that the whole family would sit together again,
Relaxing and enjoying a mini vacation at home.
Little did I wonder I would ever get time for my hobby again,
The one that I had left years ago.
Little did I wonder that our mother nature could heal And would be able to breathe again.
Little did I wonder that a microscopic virus
Would scare the human beings to this extent.
Little did I wonder that after this lockdown
Life would never be the same again.
