The Consumers Mental Slavery

The blood is dripping
Greed creeping
The towers tipping
The powerful sipping the sweet tea
Made from the blood and sweat of poverty
Exploitation
Rules the nation
Propaganda at every station
Look and see
There is no more you or me
Just gears in the machine of society
Don’t lie to me
You let them lie to me and you
And we buy everything they say it’s true
You think you have choice but don’t
You could break free but you won’t
The purchase
You chase
Saw it on the screen
Used to hypnotize and lean
Inching towards the item
But you don’t seem them
Pulling your cognitive strings
As the advertiser sings
Priceyness
It is not happiness
You can’t find joy in a material kit
But you eat it up you take a hit
The fire that you thought would stay lit
Unknowingly you killed it
They pull you into the pit
Down
Down
Down
You landed in this town
Looks just like what the silver screens portray
Turn your head and see the decay
They lied
You lied
We tried
The rules which we chose not to abide
Many died
You may wonder this pit
And think of all of the
But they threw the line and you bit
They have by the jaw
Break free
Break the law
Join our revolution
It’s the only solution
To stop this sick dilution
Of the good things in the lands
Fighting across the seas and the sands
Raising groups and bands
Of the few still with worthy hands
For the good everyone stands but few go and do
Unlike me and you
Who went far out
Winning every bout
Go shout and yell
They oppose give them hell
Kill at the ring of the bell
Ding
Ding
Ding
You hear us as everyone begins to sing
Snapping your last mental string
Now you can’t comprehend anything
Bilindy enslaved
With your mind you paid
Your now a gear in my murder machine
I lied to you
You thought what I said was true
Hypnotized and leaned you were
From my goal you will never deter
Yes sir
You will say
In every conceivable way
Propaganda I give you
And you think it’s true
Always doing what I tell you to do
Now the blood is dripping
Bodies tipping
And i'm sipping
The tea of the power hungry
Made from the blood of poverty
And the flesh of every dead body
You broke the line thought you were free
I told you to come with me
Came over to my line and bit
Like and Idiot
You bought it
You thought you were free
But know you are still a slave
Obey me and you will behave
I have your brain with the others in my cave
Still you are a slave.

A Rocking Chair and a Knights Blade

A Rocking Chair & A Knights Blade
An elderly man in a rocking chair. He sees a bird flying through the air. He hears a boom and turns his head. He sees the bird lying bloody and dead. He laughs and then turns his head back. His eyes close fading to black. The man sitting. Through his thoughts he is sifting. Looking for any faint piece of imagination. He settles on a medieval nation. An intrepid knight with his blade at his station. A strong & loyal sentry. Like all of his ancestry. Guarding this cobble path. Protecting it from the enemies flaming wrath. A suspicious man walks to the post. The knight asks him for a note. The man holds no rite of passage or paper. The knight did implore more and more The man shouts i’m going for her The knight grips his blade and exclaims You cannot pass on this here path If you continue you will feel my blade’s wrath The man takes two steps The knight draws his blade The wind blows with blood and regret But the knight doesn't know it He stabs the man and leaves him to bloodlet The knight turns around a sees a woman with child weeping, a mother He killed a father He mutters I can’t go any farther The elderly man snaps out of is nap A cat scurries off his lap He begins to shed a tear A nurse concerned walks near The elderly man says nothing Just reminiscing Of a better time Another tear falls down his eye Running his tie

Stay Strong Brothers

Don't let pride
Guide your stride
Instead take a ride
On the straight and narrow
And let righteousness be your row
Down the river we know as life
Speak with peace not strife
Speak with a feather not a knife
Speak with grace not spite
Speak to reason and not to fight
Lead not to dominate and feed
Lead to sow a fruitful seed
Love not for lust for your heart will rust
Love because it's just
Lay your anchors so you don't wither
Lay your anchors so you don't dither
Live to cure and create
Live to edify and elevate
Live not to harm and hate
Give not for your greed
Give for your brothers' need
Don’t let the wicked vex you with malice
Don’t let the wicked lure you into their twisted palace
Don’t let the wicked make you drink from their bloodstained chalice
Sit atop a high ground not for vanity
Sit atop a high ground so you can watch and guard every sea
Know that fantasy juxtaposes reality
Know that the steadfast will strengthen and last
Know that the famous are often vacuous
Know that blight follows those who slither in the night
A dove glides with love
A raven plummets with sin
Go and reach out of your arm’s range
Go and instill a positive change
Love your mothers
Listen to your fathers
Stay strong brothers

-nighthawk:

The nighthawk that's afraid of the dark
Stays up to protect his heart
With a mind wired by the creative
That won’t cease until he finishes his piece
He draws to put himself at ease
To give himself peace

Every night well past twelve
Putting his head through hell
Before he rests it on his pillow
Which he clutches as he is hopeless and hollow

The painting of agony is what brought him peace and calm
The same painting that brought his peace near
Was the catalyst to his nightmare
Through the night tantalized by fear
Vexing and nagging his ear
The dark’s cold leer
Haunts him still

Till he wakes
In his ashes
And asks

Why

:half:

The other half of me
Explains what others see
But only few know that half

That I choke and bleed between every laugh
That there's a king behind the gaffe
That there’s pain in every paragraph

And those who know
Don't know where I'll go

But at least they will be at my gravestone

Wretched Fields of Sleep

As night falls
Fear begins it’s ghastly calls
Demons come out with bloody claws
On my brain evil relentless gnaws
The mountain of darkness is steep
I climb it longing for sleep
I desperately fight
Trying to reach the light
Tumbling through my black plight
With every hour
Darkness will devour
At the summit I reap
The withered fields of sleep

Just Sorrow

There is no mirror
Can't reflect, only regret
There is just sorrow

Woodstock

The kids aren’t right and it's your fault
You laid down and let evil sprinkle it’s salt
Leaving our futures to rot
Tell me know was it worth the cost

Your worthless years of senseless pleasure
Have caused harm to great to measure
With your feeble frame can you even fix the fissure

Ignored the truth
In your youth
To good, you gave the cold shoulder
I hope that you see it now that your older
I hope you speak truth and justice to your granddaughter
And teach her how to be a good mother
And to edify her brothers
Help heal others
And be a beacon of truth

Generations
Blinded by temptations
Have ripped the fabric of many nations

And it’s up to both young old to restore
The country’s gaping bloody hole

Revolution's Contusion

For revolution will scream and call
Guns and blades for all
Watch the power fall
The people stand tall
Dancing at destruction’s grand ball
Order and balance a thing of the past
Now we're all in last
Sailing towards hope with a broken mast
Our skewed course
Speeds up with every corpse
Disorder and Destruction
Arrive each on death’s black horse
With blood and tears
Dried up over years
The soil and sands become coarse
A reminder of past revolutions
And failed solutions
Of propaganda and blind delusions
Lies bleed from every contusion
Order is gone it’s not that hard to see
The consequences of anarchy
Looting and shooting
Rolling through the streets, it’s the undertaker’s cart
When did start
Revolution often sour and bitter never sweet nor tart
Normal life as we know it has come to end
In desperate times our lives we send
Hoping they can sew and mend
Sadly we rode death’s trend
Your mind they started to twist and bend
Now your life has come to and end
Everything you did in vain
Nothing was worth the pain
The lied and stole your brain
But you decided to ride
Blindly along with their stride
Their corrupted laws you chose to abide
Your lack of precision
Led to your fateful decision
Killed at the hope of a promising vision
That delivered nothing
You hear fate’s bell ring
The songs of lies, manipulated, the cheated, and wasted life you ever sing

Consequence of Desire

A slave to sugar
Hypnotized by your desire
Drawn to black fire
