She and Her

SHE wanted my heart, I didn’t know why.
Yet I gave it with ease, and it was all a big lie.
Once SHE got it, SHE didn’t know what to do,
So SHE played with it, dropped it, and broke it in two.
SHE tried to give it back, but it no longer fit me.
Where it once was, now lies cold, dark, and empty.
Why would SHE do this? SHE knew of my goal.
To wait for the one, the mate of my soul.
The one I’ll call HER, ‘cause I don’t know HER name.
Now SHE ed this up, with these silly child games.
The one I call HER wouldn’t do this to me. For the one who is HER, is so special and sweet
What SHE did to me, was ed up and absurd
And this is the difference between SHE and HER

The Beast My Addiction

Is it possible to change, the beast that's deranged, the one who dwells deep in my mind?
Or shall I suppose, in the face of my foes, a friend in the Beast I will find?
If I change me, will he wait patiently, for the darkness to return with its dread?
Will he always be there, with his malevolent stare, this Beast that just lurks in my head?
Will he just sit awhile, with his cold Wicked smile, awaiting the self-destructive feast?
Will he try to make me quit, come to terms and admit, that it's really just me who's the Beast?
When I realized it's me, who has power over thee, he wipes off his fiendish grin
It's a double edged knife, I must battle for life, to ensure that the beast doesn't win.
