The Beast My Addiction

Is it possible to change, the beast that's deranged, the one who dwells deep in my mind? Or shall I suppose, in the face of my foes, a friend in the Beast I will find? If I change me, will he wait patiently, for the darkness to return with its dread? Will he always be there, with his malevolent stare, this Beast that just lurks in my head? Will he just sit awhile, with his cold Wicked smile, awaiting the self-destructive feast? Will he try to make me quit, come to terms and admit, that it's really just me who's the Beast? When I realized it's me, who has power over thee, he wipes off his fiendish grin It's a double edged knife, I must battle for life, to ensure that the beast doesn't win.
