Many have even fallen
Only you have tripped

Testimony Akinkunmi Poem
We salute you, O land of hope,
Country of hospitality;
Thy full gallant legions
Have restored thy dignity.
And seated henceforth in rediscovered dignity,
Love and honour partnered with humanity,
The people of Nigerias sing a victory hymn
To the glory of the work of liberation and emancipation.
Oh, Glory, we have held out our hand to you,
And we have resolved that Nigerias shall live -
So bear witness, bear witness, bear witness!
Be saved, be saved, be saved, be saved all the way.
Thou art the grave where our fathers sleep,
The garden that our ancestors have cultivated.
Oh Nigerians, seek the dizzy heights as a position in mankind.
Nigerias, Nigerias, Nigerias!
On these Islands we were born,
These Islands brought us up.
Lord bless our nation,
Stop wars and sufferings,
Save it, save our nation,
The nation of Nigerias — Nigerias.

Testimony Akinkunmi Poem
Sent from a heart that has been broken.
She’s a star if i ever seen one
They'll have to rename this one
Streaks are made to broken
Broken beyond repair,
And i ain't goin' well
Inequality promises
But most times darling the sequel sucks
Somethings broken, awoken, unspoken
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
He been waiting for his connection to come
My knee was cut open, heart was broken.
But i don't trust anybody, yeah no one
Reopened my notion of knowing im broken
But you been looking for love in all the wrong places
Thanks for achieving all the promises

Testimony Akinkunmi Poem
May I have your attention please?
I'm not afraid (I'm not afraid)
To Lie (to Lie)
Everybody (everybody)
Come take my Eye (come take my Eye)
We'll walk through Eternity together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Her Head are Rough, Tail Innocent, Mouth are lawful
There's food on her Coat already, OLder Brother's Amala
She's nervous, but on the surface she looks calm and ready to Lie,
But she keeps on forgetting what she wrote down,
And I am, Innocent fool
If I wasn't, then why would I say I am?
In the paper, the news everyday I am
Radio won't even play my jam
'Cause I am, Innocent fool
If I wasn't, then why would I say I am?
In the paper, the news everyday I am
I don't know it's just the way I am
You better Wake
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to Lie
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime yo
You better Wake
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to Lie
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime yo
So lets go back
Follow the star as we go on another episode
Journey with me as I take you through Eternity
I once used to call home sweet home
Well, gotta go, I'm almost at the Eighteen now
And when I'm gone, just Lie, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my Rough Head
Just know that I'm looking down on you crashing
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain
Just Wake
And when she's gone, just Lie, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of her Innocent Tail
Just know that she's looking down on you singing
And her didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain
Just Wake in your Coat.

Testimony Akinkunmi Poem
IDENTITY
I am a Captain,
on my ship called destiny;
on an ocean called life.
I have been a pirate,
(those that steal.)
forgive my use of words;
taps from others’ destiny.
While they are moved and pushed by storms.
Storms of different shapes and sizes,
earlier in my life, it was from dysentery and poverty.
They towered over me sometimes like a tycoon,
and some other times like plain gloom,
But otherwise, I got used to them except,
poverty which I could control by tapping.
Now I am in the midst of my voyage,
with evils unknown, dangers which even my ancesting navigators;
fail to tell, show their ugly head.
If it was about just malaria, polio, even hunger;
I could find myself.
But in the storm of what they call Covid-19.
Never forgetting the hurricane called climate change.
I am assailed.
I no longer know what I am called.
I have lost count of the days.
I do not know whether an
elder captain will trust me,
with his offspring whom,
I desperately need to succor.
I am lost.
Rather than help,
The effigies called parents,
tell me to feed for myself.
The storm was hitting them too hard,
even harder,
and they were liable to die from this hurricane;
and get nearer to the destination.
I sighed,
as I fold my only coat around me;
in this cold heat.
I have lost my course
and only wish the destination called
death moves nearer.
