The land is calm and steady,
The ocean is full of life.
The land takes its time,
The ocean follows its waves.
The land pushes and pulls at itself,
The ocean is always reaching but shys away.
The land can make mountains,
The ocean can surround anyone.
The land holds the ocean steady,
The ocean pushes the land for more.
The land is hard as stone but soft as sand,
The ocean couldn't do it without the land.
The land is everywhere for the ocean,
The ocean is clear but the further u go the darker things are.
The land finds beauty in the ocean every thing is with something,
The ocean doesn't trust because she has been used like a trash can.
The land is honest and gentle,
The ocean is scared to reach new heights.
The land won't let the ocean fall,
The ocean will always be around for the land.
Your my land,
I'm your ocean.

Feel my world crumble,
dying slowly for years.
Sitting next to you,
that wasn't enough.
Never see the day i graduate,
nor meet the guy i marry.
Lost for so long,
you where really gone.
Wanting me to live.
a piece of me is gone.
Turned to you,
now i just keep spinning.
Fear of disappointing you,
Weighed down by my own thoughts.
was i ever there for you.
you weren't alone on your deathbed.
Your in my heart,
that doesn't make this any less hard.
