Freedom

What good is freedom
without Our own time.
We're society's prisoners
but have committed no crime.

Life's like a journey
on a slow-moving train.
From station to station
nothing lost nothing gained.

From our very first breath
we're all caught in a web.
Hills become mountains
On our journey towards death.

We're all caught in a trap
until our lord pays a call.
Then we leave here with nothing
what's the point of it all?

War

Ever since the beginning of time
wars have plagued our land.
Gods creation abused and destroyed
by the evil deeds of man.

The weak and humble suffer
the innocent paying the cost.
They'll never be a winner
for wars are everyone's loss

When will all this madness end
will sanity ever prevail.
Will God decide enough is enough
and put an end to this evil trail.

Heavens Angels

Stars that shine in the sky above
are heavens angels,those we loved.
Looking down to light our way
then they sleep through out the day.
Though out of sight
doesn't mean out of mind.
For when darkness comes
once again they shine.

Wonders of the Universe

Rainbows paint a picture
On a showery summers day.
The wind is just a whisper
To blow your cares away.

The rain are heavens tear drops
Which make all things grow.
Our moon is an orchestra
That make the oceans ebb and flow.

The sun gods great creation
That gives everything its life.
The stars are heavens angels
Twinkling through the night.

The aurora borealis
Those northern lights for all to see.
Are the greatest show on earth
Our lord puts on for free.

The wonders of the universe
All creatures great and small.
Were made by god with love
To amaze us one and all.

Trapeze

A young man on the flying trapeze
Used to fly through the air with ease
Then something went snap
He thought what the crap
Now in heaven he swings through the trees.

Servant of God

Death has no conscience
Death has no friends.
Every saint and sinner
Will be visited by him.

Death hides in the wings
Just stalking his prey.
Death is your shadow
Only a heartbeat away.

The rich the famous
The poor the unknown.
There's no hiding place
When God calls us home.

Death will greet everyone
For all things must die.
Life will disappear
In the blink of an eye.

But death is not final
Death is nothing to fear.
Deaths a servant of God
Who leads us to heaven from here.

In the Poop

I knew a young man from Crewe
Who's favorite meal was a stew
Though he became chagrined
As he'd often break wind
And sometimes would follow through.

His wife cried you are obscene
And the noise is causing a scene
For after eating prunes
He could fart in tune
To the anthem God save the Queen.

His bowels were causing a riot
It was time to change his diet
He was afraid to cough
Fear of letting one off
Wasn't easy keeping things quiet.

So as for the young man from Crewe
It's a goodbye to beans and stew
Hoping vegetable soup
Wont make him poop
For relief is long overdue.

Christmas

Christmas comes just once a year
But now days it starts in November.
Long ago it was just one day
As far as I can remember.

Christmas Memories

Those Christmases of Old
Were much better by Far
We never had much Money
But we always got By.

No expensive Gifts
Just little Things
A Christmas Stocking
A drum made of Tin.

A jig saw Puzzle
That my mum would Complete
A plastic Gun
Golden coins that were Sweets.

A few new Penny's
A colouring Book
That my Nan filled In
So I never got a Look.

Now sadly Today
The mystery has Gone
Christmas starts in August
And just goes on and On

Gone is the Magic
The expectation the Surprise
Christmas is big Business
It's become to Commercialized.

Supporting Actor

I'm always the supporting actor
I've never been the star.
It seems I'm always the chauffeur
driving someone else's car.

I've always been a loyal player
never the captain of the team.
It feels as if I'm playing a part
fulfilling someone else's dream.

I've always been a Joker
I'm feel happy playing the clown.
I find a sense of humour
helps make this world go around.

I'm honest and I'm loyal
although it doesn't always pay.
Some see it as a sign of weakness
where they can have their Way.

I do things without question
never asking what its for.
I let others share the plaudits
knowing I've helped is my reward.

After all is said and Done
we should be happy as we are.
For if God made us in his own image
then everyone's a superstar.
