World Poetry Day

I taught of it to be a day filled with ink and empty paper
Where ill paint myself rainbow
Blank paper scribbled with ink should rain upon me
In appreciation for the proper use of poetry
Today every word play will queue up in a cemetery
Exhuming words buried in my archive
To march forth to me for their salary
For they slaughtered for me every life alive.

Covid-19 Doctor Says

Covid-19. Doctor Says:

If i was given an option
I'll prefer quarantine with my family
Self isolation with no glimpse of light
Until all of it is over, but
You sit me here fighting a war I've no tactics for
Swapped my TV screen with telescope
Doff my necklace and trade it with stethoscope
Undress me to dress me with scrub and a lab coat
Don't i deserve better with your deaf ears
I'm sending you too a war no one has trained you for
Let me fight your battle and you'll do the same for me

Do me a favour
Grant me your deaf dripping ears
That choose to listen not without a gun
The weight upon me is unbearable
I've been sleepless stopping a fire
But you seem to be a wanderer with a leaked gas station
How do you like the impression 'Sorry, he didn't make it'
Yeah, you understand that even without moving a lip
How is it different from stay at home and be safe
Avoid handshakes and engage yourself with sanitizer
Isolate yourself and turn on your TV
Watch me as i keep you posted
Wouldn't you save a soul like I'm trying hard to
We'll get through this together, Yes we can.

I Missed You

When i again heard your voice
As it echoed through the strings in my ears
I felt remorseful
For it makes me wonder
Was i not one of the lucky ones
Who stripped out the street
Dancing to the rhythm of 'I MISSED YOU'

                                                                          ©pensayf.

Uncuff the Silence

Days of letting ignorance slipping by
Seducing my innocent silent soul
All in the name of satisfaction
Hitting my kind gesture of hospitality
Eating up my futuristic nourishments
Letting go of all the sarcastic ill says
And leaving fingerprints on my double coloured face
To weep with convulsive breath in silence
Are over.
I can't recall the last time i was laid, rather
I Sit on my moist blanket enough to smear
I didn't get in to imagine how it's done
I am in to please and be pleased the pleasure
To speak aloud and get life with no pressure
Will the law hold me for shutting you forever
For i endured enough to speak of no more
You pushed me to uncuff my silence
And put an end to the nightmare violence.

Covid-19

I write this poem here where i lay
Where sunshine is gone i could only see grey
Where babbles of a monster who refuse a weapon was told
Not a fairytale of a monster that'll hug you and stab you
But a monster who'll sneeze a life out of you
And cough a casket to what remains of you
This monster will handshake your father
After a heart felt eulogy at your funeral
Then Hug your sister with sympathy
And come back for condolence visit the next day
To dine with your mother
The bloody monster that pauses the earth to rotate

Covid-19 held us captives for a crime we're not sure of
I see the way it move at high speed in the air
By passing every blind checkpoints of humanity
Getting itself merged with everything that we cherish
Covid took away every kind gesture we demonstrate love
And turned us ninjas running from our loved ones
What kind of a world survive without love but massacre
Ask Venus or Mars, and move to Pluto to testify
What do you do with our isolated souls in coma
Tell us what to do with them for we've buried enough

Our world is sick and we're its symptoms
We can defeat this monster plague if only we adhere
Let's work together to change the red headlines on our screens to green colour of victory and freedom.
Sanitize your hands regularly and stay Home and safe
In the end, I wish you a happy new year in advance

Rapist

Hey you a rapist
Stop acting like an artist
How do you feel making her scream
A ruthless satisfaction that turned her future to dream
Is it worth the violation
Cos of your selfish temptation
Look into her eyes before you made her lie
The horror in her eyes could make her die
To welcome suicide the next thing after.

When I Die

When i die
Come to my grave with your metaphors
Carrying your pen close to your chest
Let my grave serve your plane sheet
We're having a poetry duel on top my grave
Seduce the soil to vomit my dead body
For I've punchlines ready to get your ears dripping
My iambic pentameter are arranged like graves in a cemetery
Dug for me a grave of Alliteration
And wrap me up with assonance
A Coffin filled with roses of simile.
