Mother Nature

I’m wrapped in your soft, willow arms.
I arch my neck as the sun plants kisses of sweet honeydew down to my collarbone.
Your light breath, a breeze, brushes my cheek and touch’s my senses.
Wild flowers grow where your fingertips trace my skin.
Buttercups
Indian paintbrush
Queen Anne's Lace
A wonderland of colors, scents, and smells.
I get drunk on your love Mother Nature.

The Moon and Stars

What would happen if the stars and moon collided?
It already happened in your eyes.
The sorrow of a thousand yesterdays and
the joy of a million tomorrows.
The captivating light dancing in them.
I could swim in them all day and drown in the
Moon and Stars c o l l i d i n g.

I'M Awake

I feel as though an angel has been sent to me. I don't know what I did to deserve him. I'm not a perfect person sometimes-most of the time actually-I'm not even a good person. For so long I have been told I was not enough, that I would never fit in, that I wasn't deserving and now here is this wonderful person saying that I am more than enough, that I fit perfectly in their arms, that I deserve the whole world. I don't know what to think of it. Is this real? Can someone pinch me to make sure? My feelings are scattered; is this real or just a whisper of smoke that I want so desperately to be real?

I do think it's real. For so long I believed what they said about me but now I'm not so sure. What if you- you beautiful, caring person- are right? You would never lie to me. You mean so much to me for being able to see past this broken shell to what I forgotten had lain sleeping all this time.

Well now I'm awake.

You

Look at you, look at me
Perfect pair
But not meant to be
I fear.
I want you and I’m pretty sure I
Need you....
The sound of your voice
Is the first sound I’ve
heard since being deaf for
a thousand years.
Your smile is the first thing
I’ve seen since being blind for
a million years.
And....
Just....
you....
I want to talk to you but how?
I just don’t know
What do you think when you see me?
Yes
No
Maybe so?
I need answers from
You.
