By the Water's Edge

Suddenly sitting soberly at the water’s edge,
Averting and avoiding the sun by a straw hat,
Watching wearily the tide rolling away,
Wondering why wastefully I lived my life
Feeling far from frantic thoughts
Sadly swallowing bitter guilt I gained from the past.

The tightened thick rope round my waist,
And an anchor as heavy as it can be tight to it
Riveting remorse ready and waiting to be dropped by the water’s edge.

Open Space

Efflorescence in a period of time
As Chicory plant spreads
While arboretum is filled with newly watered seeds
The wild-flower in all its glory blooms

The gentility of the open space soiled
Polluted by the lack of responsibilities

Ovaries

A reproductive structure in force
Sunflowers as tall as a giant
Pansies and Violas borders the garden
The magnetism of nature with the help of green fingers
Presents a corsage of wonderful blooms.

And So the Story Goes

The child was born in a stable
Or so the story goes;
Visited by three kings bearing precious gifts,
And Herod tried to kill him
Or so the story goes.

He then began to perform wonders,
Changed water into wine
And made a blind man see
Or so the story goes.

One day his friend died
This man after a few days resurrected him
And the dead man was alive again
Or so the story goes.

He had a farewell dinner with his twelve mates,
He told to eat his body and drink his blood,
To survive from transgressions and enter into paradise.
Or so the story goes.

Then he was betrayed by one of his friends,
For thirty pieces of silver,
And this man was tried and found guilty
Crucified between to thieves
Or so the story goes.

Well there is always a happy ending in many stories
And this has one two
You see this dead man not only resurrected himself
But also showed his friends his damaged body by the thorns and nails.
His mates were astonished and more so when this man ascended himself to the sky….
The son of God they said…..
Of course and so the story goes.

Swans

Calm was the sea where I stood,
The rays of the sun like daggers incising the waters
Now and then a small breeze disturbing the stillness
Nothing could disturb the blue sky not even a small cloud.

The sandwich I was eating filled me up,
Waste not and the piece of bread thrown into the water…..
Within a second a school of sardines surrounded the food
As a parade of glorious proud swans appeared
Detaching lunch was ready.

As Swans are often a symbol of love and fidelity,
And because of their long-lasting, apparently monogamous relationships,
I felt somehow disturbed to see them behave as wild hooligans
Fighting for their hunger.

Ginger Beard

The mighty seas controlled by Ginger Beard,
A prolific pirate creepy and feared;
His ship commanded grit,
Filled with obnoxious wit;
The ship sank and the treasures disappeared.

If I Was a Man

If I was a man
I will cook in the morning
I will cook in the evening
A stew which is rotten to the core.

If I was a man
In the middle of a house,
Surrounded by cobwebs
And droppings of the mouse
I will call for the killers
And put strong poison fillers.

If a was a man in a midsummer night dream
I shall be the queen fairy Titania
I’ll bewitch all the hate that surrounds me
From London to California.

If I was a man with a mouth
I will shut it and stay quiet;
I would behave for argument's sake
Before comes another riot.

Prisons Are Not Made of Walls

Bricks and cement do not make walls for a prison
Only cruel minds and premeditation
Is it not murder?
Is it not fraud and theft that locks one in?

In Meditation

As the sun vanishes and the moon appears
A surreal quietness surrounds.
As my love flutters away and loneliness replaces it
A surreal life circumvents.
