And So the Story Goes

The child was born in a stable Or so the story goes; Visited by three kings bearing precious gifts, And Herod tried to kill him Or so the story goes. He then began to perform wonders, Changed water into wine And made a blind man see Or so the story goes. One day his friend died This man after a few days resurrected him And the dead man was alive again Or so the story goes. He had a farewell dinner with his twelve mates, He told to eat his body and drink his blood, To survive from transgressions and enter into paradise. Or so the story goes. Then he was betrayed by one of his friends, For thirty pieces of silver, And this man was tried and found guilty Crucified between to thieves Or so the story goes. Well there is always a happy ending in many stories And this has one two You see this dead man not only resurrected himself But also showed his friends his damaged body by the thorns and nails. His mates were astonished and more so when this man ascended himself to the sky…. The son of God they said….. Of course and so the story goes.
