Sean Wolff Poem
Brave needs to be the man
who keeps up with him on feet
he’s a prophet, a hermit,
a wizard
a gypsy, and a thief
He knows what they think
they tell you he’s off
a little bit strange
his working with spells and potions
and vacations to other planes
could very easily make
others feel some type of way
He only asks you have belief
in him and the love you lead
just don’t ask him to change
for he couldn’t even begin to think
of a life without you
and his need to be free

Sean Wolff Poem
I felt my heart fall from my chest
Like a shooting star coming down to meet it’s untimely death
I wondered where it had gone
Where that star may have went
Since nothing else was shining in the night
I looked toward the moon instead
A grimace cratered her face
She wavered gently in my misty eyes resembling a disapproving shake
The heavens were against us
It is what it is, fate
I knew what I had to do
But this was never me falling out of love with you
I just can’t expect the stars to align the same twice
This wasn’t an excuse to walk away
I’d follow you like a planet in orbit
If the universe let me have my way
Those feelings we had for each other are somewhere out in space
not here on Earth where they should be
But so the moon stays,
Magnetically pulling me in the direction I should take
So stay wild, moon child
Don’t forget to smile
And don’t ever let that fire of yours tire
I wish I could mark this all up as simply a mistake
But you and I both know for that it’s way too late

Sean Wolff Poem
I have disfigured moles marking my body
I’ve been accused by neighbors of being strange and naughty
I’ve flown high as a kite on pitch black nights
Meeting with others for a fire to light
I’m sometimes haggard, and not so proper
I’m not what family thinks I have to offer
I’ve self medicated with potions
And always have excuses
Of where I’ve been after a night of casting illusions
My body is unlike the statues I worship
And when my insecurity begins to surface
I go and cavort with spirits
To bury my emotions
Mixing concoctions
causing a commotion
I’ve been the one accused time and time over
I’m the snake whispering wisdom from your shoulder
I’m the one you tell tales of in October
The one who knows what will happen before it can take form in a moment
I’m everything you could want and desire
I Am the mystery you have been waiting to discover

Sean Wolff Poem
Sun and Moon
Trust me with your sky and I promise this,
Rest now awhile, I'll continue to shine it.
Give me your trials and with one spell I shall discharge them.
Lay your celestial body on me now.
A pillow of alabaster for your solace.
But time, it must despise us.
For whenever you rise up,
I must decline then
This cycle we must trust is right.
Though sometimes I wonder if we will ever share the same sky

Sean Wolff Poem
Wise Man
Just as the leaves begin to fall
He gazes knowingly down at his crystal ball
Just as he suspected after this summer long
He’d be alone for awhile so to collect his thoughts
He’s not damaged or timid
Nor wicked at all
He’s just known since he was very young
That silence is better than fighting the cause
Of what happened to what now is gone
So now he bawls as he stands tall
Like the trees around him
As their leaves fall

Sean Wolff Poem
All you need is one more ingredient
And this latest spell will be a definite success
Your feelings, again, you'll never have to mask
This love you wish for will forever last
But this portion you need you'll never find in the future or the past
Nor any substitute will suffice for what it is you lack
You see, you can't seal a love without first having it for yourself
Some things magic cannot fix
It needs to come from ourselves

Sean Wolff Poem
Stay up high
In the sky
Don’t get close enough to say goodbye
Because that’s all that I’ve ever known
Still you glow
Beckon through
Illuminate the way to you
Yet I still can’t help but push and pull
But I don’t want to be by myself for much longer
But I don’t want to let you in to see the truth
That beneath all the cosmos and wonders
Lies no more than someone afraid again to lose
But we’re both alone
We belong together
Follow me through
I can see all your colors
Doesn’t matter your phase or your mood
Whether you’re super or blue
I’m in love with the moon
I’m alone just like you

Sean Wolff Poem
Many Moons
Many moons have affected my way of life
From conflicts to divine meetings
To when I choose to say goodbye
I’m always pulled in the direction of what seems most right
When listening to the many moons
And the thousand faces she assumes

Sean Wolff Poem
That’s two things you don’t mess with:
magic and me
But you played with them both
Now your fate is sealed, indeed
We’re working together
To bring you down to your knees
Soon enough everyone will know
Of all your dirty deeds
And not all the apologies in the world
Could save you from the flames
They’ll put upon you
For playing these games
