If

If? What if the life wasn't as it is, Would you wish that to be true? What if you got everything you need, Would you be happy in this time that's new? What if you got the girl of your dreams, Wouldn't you want something better again? What if your career's better than it seems, Wouldn't you still complain of what you gain? What if there were no politics, Wouldn't politicians have a different name? What if division was just a theory, Wouldn't your demand for piece be typically lame? What if there were no regulations? Would the world have a better order? What if there were no nations? Would you still need a controversial border? What if there were no religion, Wouldn't you be glad that we are all the same? What if we smiled at someone for no reason, Wouldn't you be glad when they ask you your name?

Adult Child

Adult child. I gazed in the mirror today To see myself mocking at me, The grown up body that Has trapped the child in me. The years of experience Has taught me one thing, The child within me Is better dead than living. The child in his days Never used to stay beat, He stood up always In all kinds of heat. He used to laugh heartily Oh! What a sound The magic of that laughter Keeps me smiling even in my sleep. As I grab a look around me I see a world granting opportunities. The voice of the child then whispers, Reciting the life it can grant to me. It tells me about the lost plans He had made for the world to see, The plans, if ever followed Can make the world so green

The Dream

The dream. I dreamt that I am awake, Destined to fulfill what I saw. I was doing something for my own sake, A decision apart from the world so raw. I dreamt that I was riding, Traveling alone into the unknown. I was too tired of hiding, Now I'll revel myself on my own. I dreamt that I stood at the spot, Where I always wanted to be. Here I plant the seed in this pot, That'll grow up as I intend, maybe. I dreamt that you were there too, What were you doing, I couldn't apprehend. Then I woke up, and somehow I knew what to do, Now that I have it all, am geared up to make a stand.

Thoughts

Thoughts. Thank you to the words almighty, Our dreams are preserved by your grace. Though, like fawn we stare at the illusions, That you blow like some flurry, on our face. Thank you to all the emotions, You are the essence of our life. Though one barely recognizes your notions, Yet effectively their lives you rive. Thank you relations, whether cold or warm, You always have something to teach. Fuel to my thoughts and child of my emotions, Your true image i eagerly seche. Thank you thoughts for being my best ally, Wisdom has never ever left your side. The voice that guides me through darkest alleys, A free ticket to the rusty memory lane's ride.

Lost

It's raining here off season,
but no thunder visible in the sky.
Everything happens without reason,
I don't understand why.
The walls stare at me with virtual eyes,
I stare back with no vision.
My mind is filled with lovely lies,
that gives the life some reason.

Glad

Am glad that this change took place, can't yet understand what it will do. I still don't wanna alter the pace, with which my steps are turning to new. What matters if it's a war or a race, my fate I myself have to sew. Now I have to create my own new face, and annihilate the one I previously drew. Rejected by the shiny dreams, I stand alone in the dark, dreamless. Don't know how I'll wake up, I am stuck, why am I so reckless. Some hand might guide me to my path usually, but not now, I am done being careless. Now I won't take things to be as it seems, fear me, as fate has turned me wildly fearless.
