Artificial Love Song

I wrote a pretty love song
filled with lullabies
and starry eyes
and fingers intertwined.

Drunk with love
and forgetting my name
nothings the same
and my hearts all aflutter.

Memories of sleepless nights
soft pink lips
and fingertips
cause me to lose my place

Your hand on my cheek
lips on necks
passionate sex
and embraces so dear

Such a pretty love song
filled with memories
and sweetest dreams
If only it were real.

You Are

Your are
  That constant little shiver
  runnning down my spine
  The reason I get flustered
and I'm never there on time.
You Are
  The reason I break down
and my lonely heart feels blue
When I run into a stranger
who looks and smells like you.
You are
Why every mumbled ' I love you '
  will never be the same
Why I get happy and deppressed
when I'm walking in the rain.
You are
The dream that still haunts me
  every single night.
And why i'm still not sure
  if i'll ever be alright.
You are
  The reason I can't breathe
and the reason I get sad,
and the reason I still cry.
Your the one i'll never have.

You Don'T Know Me

I smile so no one can see my scars.
You think i'm happy.
But you don't know me.

You don't know the girl
who cries herself to sleep.
Who marred her skin
from all the stress.
Who hates herself
for all she's done.
Who chokes back screams
when she sees you smile.

You think I handle all this well.
But you don't know
the torture I put myself through.
I punish myself for all your lies,
but still can't hate you.

You think you can see
but you don't know me.

Sky

as the night peeks through
the stars shine on in glory
the sky is at peace

Truth Or Dare?

Truth or dare?
Truth I say.
Do you fear death?
No, not today.

Today the darkness
and silence I seek.
The promise of nothingness
makes me feel weak.

Weak in the knees
for peace at last.
It's awful sweetness
which I feared in the past.

Past all the fear
I'm ready, I swear.
So what is your answer?
Truth or dare?

Mountain Games

Mountains peeking out
playing hide and seek with me
Fog keeps them hidden

Rain Dance

Drops on my glasses
from dancing in the rain
with the rain.
No music needed.
My heart is already filled with it.

Convince Me (Haiku)

Starting from the top
Say it all just right. Don't stop.
I don't believe yet.

Annoyance

Constant 'wooshing' noise
Through a broken car window
Driving me insane

Fill Up the Void

Skin on skin,
Tell me you love me.
You don't have to mean it
I just need to hear it now.

Naked and lying,
At least I know your trying.
I know it can't be easy, easy
even though I am.

I am trying,
To put forth some emotion
though your feigning your
devotion
you don't even know my name.

I've slipped into,
Something sort of numbing
even though I may be coming
I can't even fake a sigh.

Please just stay,
Please pretend to listen.
These lips I have I swear
are made for so much more
than kissing.

I can feel,
My body growing colder
You wink back over your
shoulder
And I'm as empty as can be.
