Out of Space

in the hazy dawn
as the sun shines bright at the other end
words dance in my restless mind
like a happy crowd of daffodils
and as i open my precious box
of fragrant remembrance past
gathering the tenderness
buried so long
under forgotten wounds,
lulled by the same melodies
that prompt renewed dreams
while the even, dull pace of every day
hinders my imaginary travels
i strive to engrave
with my bare hands 
the cherished moments
when paradise seems within reach
thus coming back once again
on the road where we met
my feelings hidden in memories
now so deep in focus
as we walk  together
on the streets in another city
under another season
fulfilling an endless wish
vision of another world, revisited.
