Susan Zinn Poem
UP AGAINST GRASS
I walked the usual walk many times
this walk had been different today
sensing a direction, I felt to stop
to see at something so little
realizing nature clearly was speaking
moving and pushing with the wind
as I got closer they seemed to get taller
strips of green captivating and waving
pointed bodies of green valleys
small or tall, new and broken
some seem sad and even dying
with shades of brown and yellow.
I would notice tons way out there.
as I stood back looking at shades of fullness
so many bundles in groups of gathering
like an audience awaiting
In the light they are transparent
concentrating true lines of greatness.
everyone should see such a site
they would move left to right while playing
sharing a gleam of sunlight
called a stage in the spotlight
a delicate performance of dancing
gifted little ones that leave us in amazement
will always fine them free or hiding
in any place, at any time, and anywhere

Susan Zinn Poem
A WALK…….
When I see a pathway.
I get to pick which side.
He will meet you always halfway.
Pretty flowers of nature in all its glory.
His way of taking a walk next to us.
Prayers are thoughts in a story.
Our father wants our trust.
His way to guide you to that place.
You can talk, he will listen.
Can’t thank of a better space.
