Let Me Count the Ways

Let me count the ways:

1. He makes me feel as pink as the colors on a cherry blossom tree
2. He sees me without ever having met me
3. He hears me and understands my silent pain. Its like we have danced in the rain before but separately
4. I can be naked with him with my clothes on, two differences not common in today's morality
5. We are the same sign...what a common rhyme
6. I like his eyes, slanted and piercing like an eagle watching it's prey
7. I like his lips, proportionally palpable by mine, when I close my eyes at night
8. His skin mirrors mine, not too light, not too dark, perfect mix of honey and bourbon
9. His beard, colored like the night, makes him seem so right
10. I heard him … his voices has humility, with some notes of honesty and some tones of slight positive swaggery…

These are the ways I think of him...

Right Before

Right before my sleep awakens me in another world
My wishes are to dream of him, that "he" that I do not know
and have not met yet.
The one who will love me with a look
And melt me with a stare
The one who will take me around the world with one kiss
And the one that will make me fall into his own abyss
Right before I close my eyes
I make a wish to dream of him, The him that I do not know
But want so much to meet
The him that will unpredictable to my heart
The one that will serenade my mind
And run circles around me while standing still
Where is he I wonder
Why has he taken so long to appear before me
If in my dreams he is
Then in my dreams I will stay until
I find him one day

Blind Pain

So how does it feel to be showered with praise and to be looked at as if you are beautiful by someone new..
.It hurts ...because the one you have always wanted too....does not, has not and you know he will probably not
How does it feel to know he does for her...what you have wanted him to do for you...It deeply hurts
How does it feel to be read by someone who ought to not know you..
It echoes pain

Because you realize you have been invisible to the one person you have wanted to shine for all this time
Does he understand your worth ? Does he even know you are in pain?
How does It feel ...
It feels as incredible at moments... fills up the emptiness that has been lingering
in your soul, walking around, waiting around to be noticed

You

I covered myself in your scent today...
Memories of you came flooding back
I miss inhaling the additional attributes you gave it, it's not
the same without you
You released me, made me feel alive
100 percent of the time
I remember the first day I gazed upon you
I was taken aback by the beauty in the deep darkness of your skin, your pillow lips, and your bright as day smile
Never had I experienced such wonder with the possibility of
exploration
You gave yourself so willingly to me
I miss you everyday
I wish I could tell you
My thoughts is the only one that knows how much I wish I could still be yours
But time holds me still, still today
but one day I know our paths will cross as they did before
And I will be able to inhale you once more

It Is As Always

It is as I have always felt it to be
Empty
I am invisible to you
I wonder who am I then...to you
Can you not see me ? Can you not feel me ?
All this time I have been invisible
My words are in vain
My actions are futile
You make me feel insecure
You make me feel less than what I know to be
It is as I have always felt it to be
I cover it up
I ignore it
Denial is my best friend somedays
It is as I have always felt it to be
I know you love me
but you can't possibly be In love with me
if you would be
then you would know how to love me

Insomnia

Insomnia came to me tonight
It keeps talking to me about you
My hidden solitude calls out for you
But my better judgment wants nothing of you
Yet my curiosity makes me hunger for you
.....whatever am I to do.......
My inner turmoil boils whenever I hear from you
I try to stay away but my thirst arises
Whenver I think of you, I remember the time I was immobile under you
It's like I don't want you... but I do
I just want to try a pience of that delicious chocolate bar
But it's not guilt free and I really can't afford the calories

Numbness

Silent rejection is the worst kind of pain that can exist
It is an invisible constant bleeding
The only cure is love
People might say they love you
but do they show it?
Are you capable of feeling it?
When rejection has been so constant
there is a numbness that exudes
a non caring attitude
Lost I am at times in this world, there are parts of me I have never met
Someone once told me if I don't resolve my past , how can I move forward
I am moving, but the past walks right beside me
I am trying to find someone , but where is he ?
How much longer must I wait for him to come to me
It is very painful to be invisible
and even more painful to not be able to express it those
you are invisible too because they will never understand
It is an unknown unexpressed depression of sorts
I have to maintain face, normality through my inner chaos
years of repressed sadness, ignored madness
I think everyone else thinks I see, but I know this is all making me
blind, and I can not find what is really going to make me free
