My Only Friend.

My only friend.
All I have is my Music.
I seek shelter in the comfort of "Her" arms.
I find a delightful warmth in the smile only she can bring to my life
even when my mood is upmost defiant.

She is my mother and I a small child.
Eager , to hear her speak , as only she can
soothing my soul on a fidget morning.
She puts me to sleep in the evening ,
She is inside of me
Dwelling in the depths of my soul
eager , at times she longs to burst from the depths of my heart
She pleases me, and teases me.
Nurses me back to health in my times of weakness.

I am a child of Music, and I am meant to share "Her"
with the world.
She is the Pilate to my soul
I must spread my winds, and fly.

The Simple Pleasures

If Rocky (aka a black lab )were your teacher, you would learn stuff like this :

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout.... run right back
and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
RIP Rocky

A Rendition of Green Eggs and Ham

I am Julie
How are you,
I like sex what about you?
Oh but,
You can get pregnant in a house
You can get pregnant on the couch
You can get pregnant in a chair
You can get pregnant on the stairs
You can get pregnant in a car
You can get pregnant on the farm

One thing is true use protection all the time
and you'll be happy
and have no worries on your mind.

Delusions of the Mind

this urge inside
Its not my plan
It whispers in my ear
Ideas that I’d rather not hear
Soft and slow
Until the point of no return
I place my nail upon my skin
Jagged and able to pierce my skin
I fall asleep
And the pain is gone
Hours lonely
I cant feel the same
No one knows what its like to feel
This urge inside
The stress I feel
The scars I hide
I only want what’s best
Locked away some where
Deep inside my heart still beats
The rhythm of my heart
Is off beat with my mind and soul
But I keep on keeping on
I wish this nightmare
Would just go away
Go back
To a place where I love
Go back and see my love
I try so hard to feel better
To get well
But my universe is fractured
My mind is indignant,
As I lay me down to sleep
I know the lord
Is helping my soul to keep

Wonderful Feelings

Beautiful eyes open across a pillow top,
It seems for this moment time will stop,
The earth slows and sounds wane,
A frozen moment without stain.

Your body close to mine,
Our hearts beat in time,
With a smile of simple pleasure,
This moment should last forever.

Some say perfection is unattainable
For most things that's explainable,
But in your arms and with your heart's affection
I have found a brief moment of perfection.

As I Ponder

As I sit in my secret place
I feel the sunshine hit my face
Thinking of us in the past
Knowing that our love was supposed to last

I can almost here your voice it sounds so close
I know that you will always mean the most
I see you smile and i smell your colonge too
You made me feel good when I spent time with you

I wish you wouldn't have gone away
And we would be happily engaged in may

Remembering the time I spent with you
Makes me smile when I'm feeling blue

Drifting Away

Life isn't what it's cracked up to be
Living on an island and toking delightful weed
His thoughts emerge faster and easier then before.
His mother once said not to explore,
The mystical substance that most hippies adore
He is free from the world and insanity
He takes it easy and drinks his wine.
Playing guitar all day and listens to
                          The Who's "Behind Blue Eyes"

The Class

I'm sitting in the class alone
Wishing i could just go home
Wanting to be near the ones i love
Not in a world where i walk alone
I think, I see
I want to know
Why i walk these halls alone.
I'm no different from the next kid I know
But I'm labeled the quite kid that no one really knows.
No one dares to look inside
I just can fathom why

When i get home my mom you see
Is waiting and I break free
Free from that damb lock and key
I draw
I paint
And write poetry
Wishing and wanting the world to see
Just who i am
And what they should be

A Dream

As the night grows silent,
I delicately watch you sleep
With such tender breathing
On the grass in your backyard.
I’m afraid that if I touch you , you’ll wake
Your catching smile signifies you’re dreaming things I could not
I try to remember why you’re so important to me
A list appears without effort
It’s not hard
I cautiously lift my cold fingers , and air is the only thing that
Separates them from your smooth face.
You stir
My thoughts shift back to the reality
That I’m too close
Brown eyes lock me into their spell
We stay that way for a few precious seconds.
You don’t seem disturbed by the fact that I was secretly watching
You. From my window, I saw you lying alone , and went over to keep you
Company .
You touch your fingertips with mine that were left in mid-air
“ I dreamt something spectacular “ you whispered gently
I melted at the sound of your voice ,
And wondered what you thought about me.
How do you feel?
My gaze couldn’t come off our touch.
“you know what it was?” you asked in the same tone.
I looked back into your delicate eye’s ,wandering, but said nothing .
“this”
You smiled as you leaned closer
And finally
Kissed me.
