Just the same

it's quiet here I'm lost again
Stuck deep inside thoughts
Moonshine by the fire side b
Drinking you out of my mind 

The thought of discovering a distant start 
Someone i Long forgot 
It brings me down memory lane 
I wish they would stay buried

Leave my mind I need a drink 
forget the pain Those memories bring
We had it all that night is gone
One last  touch I'll move on

It's was forbidden hush hush love 
But we did it just the same
Your  hands held another lover
Your  heart playing a cruel game 

We promised that night not to tell 
Though your secret always safe with me 
I Hope  he holds onto you 
For surely we can never be

Weather the Storm

My heart it hurts for you
On this eve of great sorrow
I know no amount of words
Can wash the pain away from you

The clouds are rolling grey
Sometimes you've got to weather the storm outside
In life there are up  and downs
Just make the best of all these times

Dearly departed we are here today
Keep your head up fight through the pain
Ahses to ashes  for you my friend 
Gone for now we will see you again

In sending love and prayers
Friends and family will always be there 
For sure don't blame yourself
You did all you could To try and help

So it seems that life's not fair 
Your heart is weeping from dispare
This pain will eventually fade

I walk in the rain 
with you old friend
Burning in the cold
Where  have you been 

Can't you believe
I'm drowning inside
Flowers on your grave
Darkened  blown away

Broken Ice

It started with something  innocent 
Say hello with  sweet intent 
Have  a drink as maybe friends 
But you know that's about to change 

What's your name baby you're looking good
Let me in yeah I'll change your mood
Share some laughs then grab a bite
 we don't have to go home tonight 

Working hard for a lovers kiss
Midnight dreams of endless bliss
The ice is broken now give us a shot
Let me see your beauty spot
Tickley toes with a hidden tattoo
Has got me craving all of you
Time is ticking I made my move
I've got nothing else to lose 

Bartender says that it's last call
Stop me before I fall  in lust 
Close out the tab I'm in no rush
For you to walk away from me

It's s 3 am the doors they closed
Shivering now I pull  you close
I'm in need of some company

Look at this life 
We keep on moving towards another day
Its just a matter of time before we lose this lovely thing

Now isn't it strange 
How our lives they seperate
The hour glass keeps falling 
But we never slow down 

To open our eyes and look around 
At the moments that pass us by

After all these years I dont understand how you can 
Play me for a fool
 i vouched for you 
because I trusted you don't play this crooked game

It used to be just you and me
Fighting against the world 
Here's the time to make it right
Just give me piece of mind 

Trust is a fickle thing 
And I doubt you comprehend 
exactly what it meant 
Knowing you were my friend

All good things must eventually end
And I guess you never cared 
You selfish prick you son of a bitch

I've come so far 
only to look straight down
The stars shine bright
I can them from the ground
It's only the thought of you

I mean I have no clue
Sounds good to me 
I'm right where I should be 
Maybe I could have done great things
Maybe I could have changed the world or seen a million faces
I don't want to be just a poor boy
Living week to week

It's time to do what's right
