Dima N. Poem
Sigh, it is a blur.
I breathe, that’s what I control
Patience, Sun will rise.

Dima N. Poem
Souls wither
Days Crawl
Faith Wavers
He is here
Burden lifts
Eyes tear
Hearts beat
Rejoice
He is near

A ll what I dream and do is for you
L ittle I show, but, for you, I fight
A nd never doubt: you're my first heartbeat...

Dima N. Poem
Is it difficult to request a simple lucid moment?
All the treachery and deceit shocking my existence
Filled with bewilderment and disgust, I can only lament
The innocence and simplicity of a smothered soul
Finally, I understand there are things beyond my control
As optimism drains gradually from my heart and mind,
I rant, cry, and resent the world of pretense and personal gain
Is it not humanely possible to act as humans anymore?
I finally understand: it is beyond my control
I can only accept and pray for the human touch to soar
Once again…

Dima N. Poem
Darkness in the world suffocates and prevails
I retrieve plaintively The Canterbury’s Tales
Begin my own pilgrimage to the land of kings and knights
When there were other meanings to the word heights
To the time of true chivalry not outrageous impudence
To the time of faith, nobility and reticence
To the time when audacity was more than just a software
To the time when allegiance wasn’t a singular affair
Knights of the Round Table heralded their pledge and prowess
To their fellow men, they bestowed justice and largess
Well, such were the tales of true homage and humanity
Before the human race was destroyed by the caltrops of vanity
Along the path of my journey, I became aware of one truth
It’s our own Renaissance that should be sought by our youth…

Dima N. Poem
A tsunami of emotions I feel
Yet one so tranquil and real
Seeps through my every parched pore
It’s the key for every locked door
Encompassing my every dream & whole
It conciliates my mind and soul
It disperses my every fear and doubt
Alleviates a pain so profound
A tsunami of emotions I fear
Through my every thought they interfere
A silent moment… a ripping epiphany
I woke up… Ah! Disturbing reality
Farewell fading light!
Farewell with no regrets....
Thank you for being part of the reality
and not just a fleeting memory.

Dima N. Poem
Hectic tranquillity is what I feel today
Is it one of Nature’s habits or just a game?
I wonder … I float… there is no aim…
It is part of the game, I learned that today…
To Confusion I must not surrender…
Yet Perplexity is the essence of Nature…
Beauty lurks in its subtle torture…
If I learned a lesson, it is my wisdom to render….
Optimism has always been a trait of mine
To play the game & aspire to win
Is how I will always outshine
All much to Her Chagrin…

Dima N. Poem
In a nutshell,
Loving Hating
Learning Breaking
Healing Hurting
Letting go
Little we know of life and love
Over and over, we seek answers
Venturing into its realm, we seek its nectar
Eagerly, we venture; unknowingly, we fade...

Dima N. Poem
I crave harmony; yet I exist in chaos...
My insatiable passion for the unknown, for the world me pushes me to madness
Like a phoenix, I am reborn from the ashes of my own insanity
I am learning how to destroy the chains of the past
how to step forward into darkness
without regrets
Taking risks is my new motto
Memento Mori to hold me strong
Don’t live with death by your side
Live so death can find you alive*
*African proverb

Dima N. Poem
Breathless gasps
Agonizing spasms
Ice-cold sweat beads
Fingers clutch a fading heart, palpitating with grief
In a moment, the rapacious pain recedes
Burdened by scorn and disbelief
Fingers unclasp as the beads disperse
As the pressure ascends to give way to relief
Vows of friendship relinquish their crown to deceit
Don’t reminisce… you’ll risk an arduous repeat
Betrayal… a lifelong heart attack
