On International Women’s Day,
the twitter bird cried out umbrageous,
for it had heard the White House say
an Argentine man was a ‘Woman Courageous’.
The agenda pushed at any cost,
without a compass, one’s way is lost.
The bruises and burns
From her cooking and washing pots and pans
Her former hands, so dainty and soft
Have now become coarse and calloused
Scars from knives on her hands and her thighs
Cuts from slicing dicing and splicing
Several produce and foods to provide nourishment for you
Yet you disregard her efforts and don't appreciate her when due
Wives, daughters and sisters everywhere
We were always seen as the 'weaker sex'
But we rose and fought our best
To be admired and looked upon with respect.
We succeeded and made the world realise
That women aren't only knowledgable kitchen-wise
We have gifts talents, achievements and dreams
Which makes the world better more than. those can believe.
Happy Women's day to all my wonderful females
We are worth more than rubies and are as competent as the males
I'm proud of all of you for the battles you fought
Let your smile shine brightly like a beacon come forth.

In the word women Mothers like W.....
Women’s Day is like Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is like Women’s Day
Today is Mothers Day and others Day
She has patience that defies great despair
In the face of age eroding her motherhood, Sarah waited and gave birth to a nation
She has penitence that overcomes shame
In the face of a cruel death, Magdalene braved the stones and shame and became a saint
She has loyalty that is audacious
In the face of fear and the disciples going in hiding, Mary and Magdalene stayed by Jesus’ side
She can be armless but still walk with defiance
In the face of bloodshed and an incarcerated husband, Winnie Mandela fought apartheid for a nation
She can switch from polite conductor to tough commandant
Carrying brain injuries Harriet Tubman was the female Moses who free slaves with armed invasions
Her beautiful face soaks up tears of pain but always shine bright again
In the face of a world of turmoil and hate, women give us the beautiful half of humanity
