A spider on a windscreen wiper
Is gambling with his life,
He better pray the sun stays out
Or he just could be in strife.
Perhaps he could take up poker,
Or roll the dice around,
I think he'd stand a better chance
Than when the rain comes down.

Eye, make up your mind
Undressing me like a windscreen wiper,
Up and down
Until your sprinklers emit a teary drool
Then dressing me up?
Make up your mind
See to your heart’s content
Glued to my perfect composition
Watch until your eyelid dries up
I’ll blow you a wet kiss to moisturise it
Hand me your caress
I can feel you all over me
In your line of vision
Lend me a gentle stroke,
But you cannot touch
Softly press all the pressure points,
Until the gushing waterfall
And you ****** a wink
And maybe forces you to shut
Are you convinced that I wear genuine leather,
A flawless bodysuit?
Goosebumps decorate the beautiful design
Finger trails dissolving as it deflates and inflates
Your complexion paling and reddening instantly
Hold your nervous emission
Then open the other eye
Into a permanent stare

god, tell me how we got
this far
the other side of i-love-you
flipped over, faced down photograph of spring
before pink bled into red?
I hugged cherry trees and dug fingernails
into thick bark, your sweater
rain-soaked wool
I gave you august
but the heatwave killed your mockingbird
scattered my songs and in the silence
the facet dripped
by a sink, my hair on your lips
thin split ends
leaves fell along the eastern front
while the west wept dandelions?
they clung to your windscreen wiper
swish, swoosh
under dead snow
five feet deep, scared to melt past 3 am?
after another hurried kiss
you burned the ten dollar yard-sale bible
two pages, close enough
for blasphemy
and the muttered nonsense of
it's going to be okay
