Halloween is on its way,
Who shall we meet today?
We are up for trick or treat,
Spooky people we can meet,
Witches fly in, superior,
Wizards floating from exterior,
Goblins, ghouls, creepy ghosts,
Pumpkin parties eat their host,
Wiccans are all here to stay,
Halloween is on its way!
when he says witch he means something bad
when I say witch I feel appreciative and glad
Wiccans are gardeners, of a sound mind
Motto “to do no harm”, they are gentle and kind.
Male authors portrayed them as bad long ago.
In faerie tales, so the readers thought so….
It was a mean thing, but these men were intimidated
By women whose gardens and confidence were inflated.
These women are too powerful the men said.
They were horrified and shocked by the might of the women.
Let's write faerie tales and make the women the villains.
Let's make fun of their beliefs, and strip them of their power.
The women were in the throes of meditating; they had no worries.
To no one do harm was their motto; they trusted the universe.
The cosmos would bring them what they needed.
They did not spent time worrying about the naysayers.
There was no anger or fear in the hearts of the women.
They were led by their soul paths, no better truth.
Mysticism is alive and well; no magic, only empathic psychic wisdom.
We call these women Wiccans, and they uplift and bring joy.
Warlocks, witches, wonderful woo, mysterious superior open voo doo
Misunderstood, persecuted, notorious view, garden lovers, children advocates too
Faerie tale nonsense gave them the screw;
they are often more kind than me, thee and you.
Controllers could not get them to do what they wanted them to do,
They stood up and were counted, and lead a group to
Listen to their hearts, which is always the right thing to do.
Drowning proved they were innocent, and to that I say "boo!"
Warlocks, witches, wonderful woo

Wiccans promises come form the heart.
The value of words we learn from the start!
We must always be careful what we think, do, and say.
Our fellow brethren not to betray!
Wiccans value honor, loyalty, and honesty too.
And paying our debts when they become due.
We walk between worlds causing harm to none.
We strive to always finish what has begun!
We walk the old path that many now partake.
We fulfill our vows to family - never to forsake!
We teach and help others every way we can.
And within Our Spirituality - forever do we stand!
It is All Hallows Eve
The night of all souls
Samhain Day
When the wiccans wail
At the witching hour
When the Demons walk
Souls will be taken
In the black of night
