Premium MemberThe Unintended

The intended was upended
by upshots unexpected.
Star burrts of ramifications
shot into the air
despite all efforts to stop them.
It was like trying to control
an armful of crazy cats
frightened by a dog.
Cries and scratches flew
as intended harmony
became unintended chaos,
with dire consequences en-trained.
It is so hard to predict
the hurt caused from
the backlash and bite backs
to quite innocent intentions
which tensioned the web of status quo
to breaking point.
How can the unintended originator
be held responsible when
the Unintended is a martyr,
a victim of their own making?

Blink of An Eye

Blink of an eye,
Buddha –
Achieved a state of perfect enlightenment
But this success carried,
Years of persistent determination
To look beyond the failures.

Blink of an eye,
Sprinter –
Upshots a sensational Victory
But this winning carried,
Months of sustained spiritedness
To look beyond the loneliness.

Blink of an eye,
Carnivorous plant –
Digests the insects with complete gratification
But this consummation carried,
Days of longanimity and diligence
To look beyond the mundaneness.

Blink of an eye,
Bird of Jove –
Hunts its prey with absolute precision
But this attainment carried,
Hours of penetrating observance
To look beyond the distractions.

I always thought of you each day,
Never missed a one.
Each time it changed,
Varied as the years passed.
Every day I still think of you.
Rainy late nights could be the saddest.
My eyes would tear at what they missed.
Etched in my memory my mistakes.
Aware of time.
Now adays I wonder earlier in the day,
These thoughts are still of family.
They range the range of life,
Of beginnings of seeds long planted,
How have they ripened ?
Upshots in mind
Relaxed in logic,
Tempered for tomorrow.
Yesterday was no different,
Only more recent.,
Until todays thought.
